I totally agree with this. I have been wanting a really good Luke for a long time, specifically in his Jedi garb. That version has always been my favorite. I personally think the face sculpt on this Luke figure looks fantastic, and easily the best we've seen. Lots of great figures next year...and lots of Lukes by the looks of things...Hoth Luke, Jedi Luke, Hologram Luke

I just saw (courtesy of thegd.com), that the ROTK series 2 figures are in stock at KBToys.com....SP Aragorn, SP Gollum, Gandalf, and Eowyn in Armor. I'm not sure if they are all still there, but they were earlier. If I hadn't had preorders and other things ship this month already on our credit card, I think I'd take advantage. Just thought I'd give the heads up for anyone that needs these figures, or hadn't heard they were over there.

I just received my Unleashed from Kebco yesterday, and got them opened up last night. I really think these figures are amazing. All three have tremendous sculpts, and I just think this whole line looks really nice on display. It makes me want to go back and pick up some of the ones I missed (specifically Vader). If you haven't gotten these, you might want to look into it...they are very well done. I really hope this line continues...

Thanks for the link Nakatu! This is great news, all the figures shown look great I think, and the announcements are a nice surprise as well! Personally, I've always hoped they would make a new Lando in Skiff Disguise, and all of the other Jabba's aliens announced sound great. 2004 is shaping up to be a great year, don't you think?

Great pics, dustrho! According to my tracking, mine are out for delivery today. I can't wait to get them. Its probably going to be the best wave for me yet, since it has 3 of my favorite characters together. I kind of have the feeling these will be tough to find in stores, that's why I went ahead and preordered them.

Maybe GoBots did come out before Transformers, I don't really know for sure. I just remember having some of each, around the same time when I was a kid . Had fun with them both, although the Gobots must have been cheaper/easier to find, because I remember getting more of those as gifts than TF. I don't, however, remember the Gobots cartoon nearly as well as Transformers.

Sorry, I had one other question about those shelves you use in your display dustrho...would they be deep and/or sturdy enough to hold say a Republic Gunship or the Falcon? I'm really looking for something that allows me to display at least the majority of my ships and figures together, and I was curious if these might work. I hope to look at them this weekend. Again, kudos on a great looking collection.

At least that is what I remember the battle cry being . This was another toy/cartoon from the 80s that came up when my friend and I were talking about our childhoods the other day. Did any of you have these figures as a kid (or even now)? For some reason, I only had/have Panthro, who was my favorite...not sure why I didn't have more, I remember watching this show all the time (as well as another show called Silverhawks)...maybe it was just bad timing. Anyways, I remember Cartoon Network used to show this show once in awhile when I was still in college...wouldn't mind seeing it make a comeback ala MOTU. Anyways, I was just curious if anyone else remembers/liked this toy line/cartoon...and thought we could discuss it here. I wouldn't mind seeing the toyline make a comeback in the Four Horseman style, although I don't know if I could afford buying it...it would still be cool to see .

Although I know they were pretty much a ripoff of Transformers, a friend of mine and I were talking about toys we had when we were growing up, and the Go-Bots came up in conversation. Although I had Transformers too, I do remember having quite a few Go-Bots (probably because they were cheaper for my parents to get me for presents). I even remember having some sort of a command center that many of them fit in. It just got my nostalgia going and wondering if anyone of you had (or have) these. They were a lot of fun for my friends and I back in the day. I remember "Turbo" being my favorite. I'm having a hard time forgetting about this line as well. I have kind of been trying to since many others were quitting, I don't have a lot of extra spending money right now, and my wife isn't too crazy about me picking up another collection besides Star Wars. I told myself I was only going to get Roboto (and maybe Skeletor) and not worry about the others, but when I see some of the other figures online, take a look at my (or others') vintage figures, or happen to catch the show, I sort of want to look into them again. For now, I'll be happy with a Roboto though...he was my all-time fave . Nice collection by the way OCB.
