Yes, that is my new sandcrawler, and yes, it does look better with the Kubricks (still not to scale though).  I think I will leave it near the Kubricks though for the time being...

And, if anyone decides that they don't want their Logray, I'm still looking for one!  :)

Here's to hoping that Bennett runs in 2 TDs and Harrison hauls in 2 more...   :-\

Jeff

Well...

I need 16.45 to tie.

So Far,
Pollard - 2 TD, 29yrd (12.58)
Harrison - 81 yrd (1.62)
Bennett - 33 yrd (.66)

14.86 points  :(

If only I would have remembered to check my team and switch my defenses... then I'd have 16.86 and a victory.

Dumbass.   :-[

Well, game's not over yet... 1.59 points to go.

Got my Sandcrawler from FedEx today!

It seems as beauty is once again in the eye of the beholder... and as one who was lucky enough to be-holding a $50 GC from SWShop.com, I like my Sandcrawler.  If this thing was $60, I'd be mad, but for my price of $18 I'm very happy with what I got.

The moral of the story?  If you're on the fence about this one, I'd say hold on until they hit clearance.  You'll like this vehicle a heck of a lot more for $40 or $30 than the $60 price tag.

Well...

I decided to open up the little Vinyl Cape Jawa w/Ion Rifle.

DANG!  He packs quite the smell with that vinyl cape sealed up in that little bag... you toy sniffers will get quite a high if you open one of these!   ;)

Me too.  Hopefully a few Manning to Harrison TDs to boost my stats and give the Dragons the win.

Well, this is why we play out the games...Interestingly enough, Matt Stover has already kicked 4 field goals tonight to add another 12 points to Nataku's deficit, putting Tatooine Express up over Nataku 39-23.

Gotta love it.

Here's to hoping that Bennett runs in 2 TDs and Harrison hauls in 2 more...   :-\

Nataku,
Where is the VC Jawa? Don't tell me you are going to keep it boxed! ;)
DBK

Didn't open him yet in case I decide that I want to try to trade for Logray... Don't worry, which ever chase I do end up with always end up opened (like my opened Indy! :)).

Hey Nataku,
I need a chase Han Solo if you have any extras. Let me know. Thanks! Tony
bikridtony@aol.com

Sorry, all gone!  Kept one for myself and then sold off my other two Chase Hans as part of sets of 7 (to two lucky JD.com members ;)).

was fisheyedlouie the only one to get his order thru??

It appears so...

D'oh!

That sucks... I see by looking at the site this AM that Logray and Jawa are both listed as out-of-stock.  Too bad, would have been a cheap way to nab the Jawa...  :(

Are you planning on aquiring Logray?

Yes, I'll add him to my list and try to track Logray down after the price settles a bit (along with the Chase Fetts from Series 1, still need to track those down... and then maybe I'll track down the Endor Bike set too).

;)

BOO-YAA!

 ;D

So, the wife and I went on a little road trip yesterday to take in one last nice weekend in Minnesota (can't squander a 64deg F day in November in MN).  We drove a few hours south along the river where we went on a bike ride and stopped for a Picnic, then later we went out to eat for dinner last night.

So, about an hour ago, I realized I never checked the mail yesterday (because we were out all day)!  I walked down to the community mailboxes and I found the magic parcel bin key in my box and BAM!  I quickly opened the parcel bin to discover that my Kubricks were here!

 ;D

Woot!  Chase Vinyl Jawa!   ;D

I'll open mine up and post some nice loose shots later...

Oh, yeah, and I should have 1x set of seven (basic 6 plus chase Han) as well as some individual Blocks/Jawas/Ewoks to sell (please send a PM if you are interested in buying)!

Very Happy!

Jeff

ps.

FYI, my case came from a Hong Kong eBay seller and the layout was basically EXACTLY the same as Padawan's, with the only exception being my Chase Vinyl Cape Jawa where his Logray was located.

Also, it is VERY easy to tell a Carbonite Block from a Hibernation Sickness Han by simply squeezing the boxes.  That Carbonite Block is a tight fit in the box!

Watto's Junk Yard / The Incredibles!
« on: November 6, 2004, 11:00 AM »
Well,

My wife and I went out to dinner with a few friends last night and decided to see a movie afterwards.  There was indecision all around on what to see, so I talked them into The Incredibles.

Episode 3 Prview aside (which ROCKED on the big screen), the movie was actually REALLY good.  Kind of like how a James Bond/Superhero movie should be.

Once again, Pixar is able to crank out a movie where the characters are very well thought out and VERY human.  I'm not going to offer up any spoliers (since this is the start of the thread), but it was a pretty great movie!  Anyone else catch this one last night?

Jeff

ps.
Also had a preview for next year's Pixar movie - Cars.

Not too bad so far... hanging in the meaty middle of the pack.

Gah, my shooting % are terrible!  Both on the floor and the line, definately my weekness so far.
