Yakface summarized Wave 3, and hinted that it might be the final wave.
- Indiana Jones (Last Crusade)
- Grail Knight (Last Crusade)
- Henry Jones, Sr. (Last Crusade)
- Doctor Jurgen Voller (Dial of Destiny)
- Renaldo (Dial of Destiny)
- Dr. Elsa Schneider (Last Crusade)

Buy all six to put together the grail table from Last Crusade via build-an-artifact components.

GrandMoffNick just pointed out to me that the Phase II Clone Trooper is finally on Amazon for pre-order.  The default setting tries to get you to buy from a third party seller for $35, but if you change the seller you can pre-order from Amazon for normal inflated retail.

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: How Many States Have You Been To?

After living in Minnesota for 30+ years I finally made it to North Dakota last year, crossing another state off my list.  Down to just Idaho and New Mexico, at which point I'll have hit all states (plus Washington DC and Puerto Rico).

I'm hoping to take the Empire Builder train through Montana, Idaho, and the Pacific NW one of these years.  I still need to figure out how/when to get to New Mexico.

I had the same problem Rob, although through some magic Walmart still shipped my Havoc.   I guess they were able to work with my credit card company to tie my old card number to my new card number.  I'm hoping they can do that with my other two pre-orders.

I totally agree that it is madness in 2023 that Walmart won't let you update your payment information.

That is a pretty sweet deal.  If I didn't already have piles of speederbikes I'd probably get more.  I'm also assuming this will get re-released with Endor Luke, Leia, Ewok, etc.

It does seem odd, unless Disney doesn't fully own it, but I assumed Disney fully owned it.

I always got the sense that Disney was working to make D+ a perpetual, full catalog of their content, and that was part of the reason why they were issuing very few DVDs of their new content.

Why can't the Star Wars team actually offer what we want?

Because they're morons?  Or was this question meant to be rhetorical?

They've just made some bad choices.  They could pick just about anything in the 3.75" scale, especially OT things, and it would fund immediately.  Look at the barge and Razor Crest.  Both funded very quickly with I think the Razor Crest funded in a day.

Anything outside of 3.75" is a risky bet and you would need to do something spot on and not something that kinda weak and not providing value.  Reva's saber was just weak and the Rancor offered way too little value.

If that show is going to be any good, two things need to happen IMO.

1) Don’t let Robert Rodriguez anywhere near it.
2) Get back to Boba Fett’s roots.  Go be a badass bounty hunter instead of a local crime lord who “rules with respect.”

If they can't follow the above guidelines they should just keep any Season 2 concepts buried in a Sarlacc Pit.

My TLC Indy just arrived from Amazon.  I got the right figure, but the bubble was totally detached from the card.  Luckily none of the accessories were lost from the tray.

Amazon has got to pack these a little better, and Hasbro needs to not be so cheap on their packaging design.  It reminds me of The Black Series 3.75" figures where the bubbles would just fall off the card.

I just noticed that Young Indiana Jones got added to Disney+.  Not sure when that happened, but I'm pretty stoked to have those added to the catalog.

Got my Hunter from Amazon today.

Still on the hunt for a Phase 2 Clone Trooper and Starkiller.  I don't believe these have showed up on Amazon yet, although I know this wave has started to hit Target.

As for ditching stuff... 3.75" Star Wars will be the last to go for me.  If I sell those, it means I straight up quit collecting.

If I decide to keep pairing down, Gentle Giant Mini-Busts are on the chopping block next.  The costs have gone up dramatically, and the sculpt quality has gone down dramatically (on some of them at least... some look great still).

Totally agree on both counts.

I had about 75 mini-busts.  I kept my favorite 15 and sold the rest earlier this year, most for a fairly handsome profit.

I am certainly enjoying this new part of the hobby since I've quit buying most stuff.  Really down to Hallmark ornaments, books and comics, retro collection, and these types of custom vintage stuff.    I'm really considering ditching Hallmark as well due to the cost and the fact they go on the tree for one year then get packed away.

Wrong thread, I know.

I cleared all my Hallmark ornaments out over the last two Christmases on eBay.  I had nearly all of them from the first 15 years that they were issued.  I probably broke even or made a little profit on selling them, so if you make the decision to simplify hopefully you'll break even.
