Ain't jack here but Pirates of the Carribean figures and Grouchy Smurf with bridge and rowboat sets...even most of the Pirates figures have been sold at around $3, which is still $2 more than I'd pay for most of them.

I finally saw a Thor movie Destroyer figure in a store. Great marketing...7 months too late.

Meijer has clone wars for $4, the last three figures were two Ki-Adi Mundis (one with his light saber stolen...how hated is the figure when they only take the saber?) and the old Cad Bane (soon to be the "new" Cad Bane.)

ANother site claims the previous battle droids were a bit too big. Maybe...but this one looks too small, though.

The rainbow color on the royal guard helmet is a bit like making a stormtrooper with the  carbon Freezing chamber light reflection painted on.

The action at the camp distracts from the fact Ahsoka failed to save the village. But she did kill 6 or so Death Watchers.

In terms of loss, I wondered if was Lux worth the life of at least one Senate Guard who died fighting the commando droids?

Rewatching the episode, one of the target droids was a commando droid head on a magna guard body. B-A-D!

Is tonight the one with Katee Sackhoff?

I cannot wait to see her debut...and dream about what a cool figure she would have made if Hasbro wasn't intent on driving this line into the ground.

her role turned out to be minor.

Good episode....but I missed it when Dooku betrayed Death Watch or whatever...we have to fill in that blank ourselves partially.

Anyone else cry when the retail droid died?  :'(
 ;)

With scalper bait stickers!

Hey, Hasbro save some money and stop printing pointless bubble stickers.

I think between TPM waves and this wave, it's gonna be a long wait for more interesting figures. I've no objections to any of them, but they should've spread the deleted bunch out over the year.  (i want Kithaba more than the 18 figures that being released before him.)

Picked up the ROTJ and ROTS blu-ray packs at Wal-Mart clearance. Now, the only one I lack is ANH.

Dude they dug that thing up from 2005, dusted it off, and started pumping out more clone #6's?  Oh that is terrible.  It wasn't a good sculpt then.  Clone 41 came out right after that and was vastly superior in every way.  That was 7 years ago.

And to dig up a debate from 7 years ago...it was NOT superiour in every way, just most ways. The #6 clone could actually sit down, the #41 risked tearing the hip joints or the hips becoming extremely loose (which is also why the carded 2005 ROTS AT-RT driver sucked for its intended purpose).

The Jet Pack clone mold is superiour to both in its ability to sit while not having wide-hips, but from the waist up has pre-2000 levels of articulation (Hasbro likes to make deluxe figures worse than single carded ones, see Captain America).

Of course that didn't matter to folks who wanted rows of rows of identical figures standing on a shelf.

If my eyes don't deceive me, I would swear that Hasbro just brought back clone trooper #6 with a $10 plus tax price tag.

It's all a bad dreaaaaam.

Based on pictures at Galactic Hunter, it seems that Shock Trooper has just the one shoulder armor piece with the logo on it. I'd think they'd use the one without the logo, but if you are gonna reissue something no one wants, you might as well make it inaccurate, too.

I'm also amused they've bothered to keep painting the rifle's stock brown, too. All the "rising costs" and "save money" talk and they keep paint apps that few care about.

Nute should be deluxe figure with his walking throne.

Yeah, right...like they'd gamble on a $20 Nemoidian.

Attack of the Clones Blu-ray 4-pack, another Wal-Mart clearance...checked vintage, still not on clearance (some Wal-Marts do have them half off).

Saw some dad talk his kid out of getting R5-D4 (!) and into getting clearance legends/clone wars since it was a better deal. See how seperate lines fail the non-collector?

I don't get why the Emperor sent Dooku to get them to execute Anakin. I mean, that's his future apprentice he has been grooming, why would he want Dooku to take him out all of a sudden? Maybe I missed something but that struck a really false note somehow.

I guess the idea is that the strong would survive. If Anakin is worthy of the Sith, he would escape execution.  Recall in the microseries that they greenlight Ventress going after Anakin...Sidious saying it matters not if she succeeds.

Finally, the last part of the Zygerian arc.

SPOILERS

The ruthlessness of the good guys in this was...awesome, though Rex's action was questionable compared what happened in the Umbarra arc.

Plo Koon seems to be the most used back-up Jedi (Yeah, I know, Filoni likes him), that's cool...but it might be nice to see someone else sometime.

Why did the Z-9(?) fighters have a hard time with the Zygerian fighters? Or was Matchstick having a bad day?

One part I didn't buy was the  queen getting some last words...your windpipe is crushed but you get to hold on for a minute for that dramatic line (Despite your windpipe being crushed!). Either Dooku force choked her to death completely or he didn't.  Maybe it was internal bleeding...heck if I know.

Anyway, solid ending to an uneven arc. The first part was mixed bag, as was the second...with our heroes seeming incompetent. They redeemed themselves in part 3...mostly. Liked it more than the Mon Calamari story, though.
