I saw the bodybuilding photos... that guy is an injury waiting to happen.  Last I read the Patriots were bringing him in for a visit.

Not a hint of steroids or other banned performance enhancing drugs.  Why would you even think such a thing?  Clean as a whistle.  Definitely.

I was just rereading your last sentence and laughed, in the last 4 months there was a giant Kree invasion in the pages of the Fantastic Four.  #600-604.

Yeah, I definitely would have missed that. I stopped collecting that book the day that John Byrne left. It will always be dead to me after that. I only need the first 5 issues to complete my collection too...so close!

That's impressive!  I give this Hickman run the thumbs up.  I came in recently around issue 583 and it's at 604 now.  I love the book.  If you go to comic cons and you can grab them at .50 cents or 1.00 you might want to check them out.

Top 4 theories from around the Interwebz:

1) Skrulls
2) Kree
3) Inhumans
4) Atlanteans

I hope they go with #2, it's the only one not lifted right out of the pages of the Fantastic Four.

Half way done with wave 2 technically if i dont want any variants. Still need Thunderball, Big-Time Spider-Man, Future Foundation Spider-Man, and one of the Madame's (Dont care which one)

Anyone have a definitive list of the variants?  I know about Iron Man, but not sure about the others.  I'm only looking to get a few of these, but would consider buying one version over the other depending on what they're offering.

I don't know if this is a complete list, but I know most of the variants.

Wave 1:

Iron Man - blue version, red/gold version
Steve Rogers - solid shield/clear shield variant
Ghost Rider - blue flame/orange flame variant

Wave 2:

Daken - masked and unmasked
Madame Masque - also a Madame Hydra
Piledriver - Thunderball variant
Spiderman - Big Time green and black version and also Future Foundation white variant

I'm pretty sure that's all of it.  There is a wave 2 BAF Arnim Zola variant with either Zola or Red Skull as the faceplate on the robot.

Awesome customs as usual DR.  That Nightcrawler looks amazing.  Didn't realize he was part of X-Force though...didn't they kill him off a while back?

Thanks!  The Nightcrawler who is part of X-Force right now is Age of Apocalypse Kurt.  The Earth-616 Nightcrawler is in fact still dead like you said, taken out by a Sentinel protecting Hope during the Second Coming storyline.

AoA Nightcrawler came through a portal created by Dark Beast along with Sunfire, Sabretooth, Wild Child, AoA Jean Grey and a few others.  The portal had been opened to get to the AoA to get a life seed to plug into Archangel freeing him of Apocalypse's influence.  So basically Warren is out of X-Force and AoA Kurt is in.  Uncanny X-Force has been really good for the past 2 years.

Here are some of my latest Marvel Universe creations.  I know this thread isn't real busy and I post these a few times a month at Marvelousnews and OPP, but maybe a few of you will like them:

Age of Apocalypse Nightcrawler X-Force:

Songbird:

Secret Invasion Venom Skrull:

Jack Flag:

Radiation Man:

Damn that is a really good Mark Hamill likeness.

They really never got Harrison Ford or Carrie Fisher though.

I agree, that comic Iron Monger is a beast over a figure - but from that line I think I have another figure that is my favorite - Ultimate Iron Man.  I am not a hardcore fan or anything so I don't know if there are any details to scrutinize him over - but man his action figure rocks ultra articulation that works extremely well.

That is funny you posted this today, I just opened this figure an hour ago.  Had him sitting in a TRU bag with some other figures I picked up from that wave.

I currently read 15-20 Marvel titles per month, none of them are Ultimate Universe.  But this figure looks great displayed with Ultimate Thor, Hawkeye and Cap.

Paul can barely afford the $100k (+/- $100k) a year each of us are already pulling down, let alone adding another person to the payroll

He pays me twice that just to post here.  You're really getting shorted.

Peyton is released and nobody cares I guess...he sure would look good in purple

Who knows if this guy is even gonna play again.

Anyway I'm open to opinions on how the compiling of this should look.  A figure's name on the left for the base body, and to the right all the names of the figure's heads that fit it?

Perfect.  I'll contribute when I get the chance this weekend.

There is a thread like this at RS, but it was taking me more than a few minutes to figure out the way it was configured, and quite frankly too much of my attention span, concentration and patience is used up at the office during the day to sit down and try to figure that out.

Your idea is good.

I saw scans of some new LEGO Avengers toy which had the "mystery villains" prominently pictured on the front of the box. AND YOU STILL CAN'T TELL WHAT THE $%^& THEY ARE!

Top 4 theories from around the Interwebz:

1) Skrulls
2) Kree
3) Inhumans
4) Atlanteans

Looking at the ships, I'd say Skrulls.

But Frost Giants are also in that list of possibilities.

And the eBay ad said he was 3.5" right?  The figure doesn't even look that tall next to a purported 3.75" Scarlet Spider.
