The Eopie is the big one for me. I remember asking them at C2 if I should wait or give some guy in the hall $75 for it, and they sort of indicated it would appear somewhere, but alas.

I also heard lots of kids wondering where Han and Luke were. And just the idea of starting off the new unified line right after ROTS with figs we want, but aren't as iconic as the ones we've been talking about seems a little odd to me. An ideal sort of wave would have included the EB figs or variations on them, and some new ANH goodness. Like a new freakin' Wedge for crying out loud.

I've been saying for a while that Hasbro should have Luke and Leia and Han out there, and they should right off the bat with TSC. I kind of think the first TSC wave should have been a 'Early Bird' wave, featuring those figs plus some new ones to kind of get the ball rolling.
And I hope they get those waves all out at once, too.

Honestly this whole thing makes less and less sense the more I hear it. What point is there doing vintage cards within this whole 'bounty hunt' scheme? And only five, without even touching Empire? And why a Lucas figure, when they've been telling us he doesn't want any more figures of him?
But after looking at that new Geonosis case assortment, you know, maybe anything goes at Hasbro now.

The Utapau trooper... and they pack him one per case. You know, this is really amateur hour on Hasbro's part. Seriously. No fan boy whining or hyperbole here. They slip the most anticipated clone next year into a turkey assortment, with gonzo pack outs, and they will end up jerking around a lot of collectors.

I thought it was one of the best openings of any of the films. It had more in common with the adventure serial type openings like Raiders had than the previous PT films, anyways.

That's just the thing, there's no real incentive to buy this version of Jango. I would have been happy with a repaint of the Boba Pit of Carkoon fig with the rocket base. That would have been different, at least.

I noticed a lot of Chewbacca at Target last night. He's shipping again in a new mix that includes the Jedi Kick Obi and only one new fig -- Gree.

This has to be the weakest wave in a LONG time. I agree with the earlier discussion that this could end up bottlenecking subsequent releases, since I don't see any of these figures, with the possible exception of the RC, selling well.
Sora Bulq: I always love new Jedi.
Sun Fac: I don't get it. If Poggle wasn't in this wave, maybe, but even then, him over SA Mace, Jango, Arena Padme, etc.?
RC: Not high on my list, but he's cool enough.
3-PO: I suppose if they included a 3-PO head, but... pass.

Yoda: No cloth cloak? You serious?
Poggle: Makes sense as a repack, but sort of makes you wonder what the rationale was behind making him 'exclusive' to a screen scene in the first place.

From the looks of things so far, what I buy will be very limited. I think I've gotten to the point where I only buy new figs if I care about the character (Sun Fac - sucks to be you) and repacks if I don't have them or there's something about it I can't live without. Which is less and less.
