300 sold really quick....

Really sad I missed that.  I was going to get JJ a gift (of a dozen)...and me a couple too.

Damn, I want this figure:

That's the 12" souvenir figure for this year.

   E...

Did you register this year?  I have at least 4 guys down there right now that we could talk into snagging one on site for you if you would like.

I like the new version of Han but not as Yavin Ceremony Han.

This is going to be my default "Episode IV" Han head sculpt.  I have already started swapping it onto all the EP IV Hans that I have.

The VOTC one was good, but looked a bit small with width of the body and shoulders.

As long as they make OT (or OT based EU) realistic figures, I will stay in.  If the line went all PT or CW, I'd be gone.

I really want a good Detention Block Trooper from Episode IV.

I will continue to buy the "upgrade/update" figures and replace the inferior versions (I'm looking at you Death Star Trooper and Lando Skiff).

Like some of you guys have mentioned, I have kids that are pretty into it now and it is neat to see my daughter snag her favorite astromechs and female jedi and my son grab ewoks and stormtroopers and want to play.

I am probably the kool-aid drinker in the bunch though.  Hasbro could change scales and if the asthetic was good and articulation was good, I'd probably re-buy the whole collection all over.

VOTC figures were $10 so as long as we are getting great articulation and good likenesses, $10 is not that bad.  I don't golf, I don't drink, I don't play video games, I don't go to concerts, I have only 1 other hobby and the stuff there makes $10 a figure looks extremely CHEAP, so it is all relative I guess.

Has it ever been over this early?

I will mail you a trophy (or drive over to Dallas and buy your lunch)

It is peppy "enough", but I would wait for More HP.

Chris

Get the Jeep!  I got one in December and it rocks.  The 3 Piece "Freedom" top takes about 20 minutes to get off though.

This is not mine but exactly what it looks like.

The Sahara package (while not as Rugged and Pimp as the Rubicon) had a better feel on the road where I will spend most of the time in it for the first 3 years of it's life with me.

The only thing I would change is I would have gotten the "Dual" top instead of just the "3 piece Freedom top".

I love the fact it is the same color all over.  Jeeps are very much like a Harley though, because I find myself wanting to customize it with badges and things and a brush guard/winch, light covers and lift kit and safari roof rack, snorkel and if possible an MG cupola (but only if they can color match the armor)

The thing I notice most in it is at highway speeds you really notice that you are driving something with a vertical windshield.  I have a gruelling 5 mile commute so it is not a major thing.

F150's must be a Dallas thing, we are Silverado folks over here in Ft. Worth.

I don't know what the national numbers are but I know Pick Ups are the most stolen vehicles in N. Texas.

They don't want to create brand confusion by having 2 titles out at once... plus if GI JOE 2 is as bad as the first one, they don't need people saying "I'll just stay home and watch the Anime Joe, instead of the All black leather suits Live action sequel"

Is anybody missing these still?  I got a case of them in the mail and have extras.

PM me.

That's it.  Only without the fancy sit down area.  But man I like that version.

Late 90s.

I couldn't get past the first level. So all I know is if you get far enough you get to ride a speeder bike or so the Internet says.

Well I've gotta get the house ready for the next JD staffers jamboree and sleep over.

I got the Green Light from the wife to add the Arcade version of the Star Wars Trilogy to game room at home.

Has anybody heard whether these things are worth the $ or are prone to breakage?

I played one at the Hotel Arcade over spring break and had a good time.

I am thinking of getting the stand up version as a space saver, but the sit down one is just so cool...

Shadows is silent on the Audiobook version. (See what I did there?)  I listened to it on the plane to and from Disney last week.

But since each incarnation of Shadows of the Empire told part or a version of the story it could, but the Audio book doesn't give us any clue.

Well I guess it is too early to concede, but I don't have much hope for my bracket.

Glad we aren't betting real money.

Don't worry Jeff, the Stars will choke their way to the end of the season, so there is one open spot in the top 8 right now.
