That said, if it really comes down to this or the 3.75" scale dies, I'll take this... I guess.
I would too, Rob, the issue is what figures would we tolerate less articulation on. I want the most definitive version of a figure in my collection. The latest Stormtrooper is an excellent example. I would also want Jedi figures to be super articulated. Someone like the Imperial Dignitary or the Emperor (As far as I'm concerned, we have a definitive Emperor so I don't need another) or other figures that aren't seen as particularly active in the films/TV shows I'd be ok with.
I guess the best course of action is for us to figure out what we want, then boost the hell out of my YouTube channel so I become big enough to get invited to a Q&A. I'm willing to fall on my sword for the community so subscribe to Matt's Collection on YouTube today!

Weird. Pretty much every one I have has that black line above the visor.
I've got a **** ton of these guys from back in the day (2006 Saga-026, 2010 VC38, 2013 Amazon Droid Factory), so maybe that is just tainting my perspective.
My bad...I thought it was higher up the helmet. I still don't mind these too much.

I think we're looking at the next three or four troop builder packs. Possible exception would be a Dark Trooper set, which Hasbro replied to me during a livestream that they were looking into.
I just looked at the rest of my 212th Clones and none of them have a black stripe on their helmet, so I'm ok with these.

I wasn't thrilled about the Vader during the livestream, but seeing it now, I like it. A Dark Times Vader with a removeable helmet and severed hand. Could be the definitive Vader.
The Han....I like the updates, but we just got the Endor Han about a year ago...at least they improved the head sculpt and the articulation.
We knew Weequay was coming for a while...a great re-release for those who missed him the first time.
