The Sequel Trilogy / Re: Star Wars Sequel Trilogy Speculation
« on: May 11, 2013, 01:02 AM »
We'll see what Abrams can do.  The first new Trek wasn't horrible.  Decent popcorn flick.  But the plot was a mess, and it was pretty empty.  I've read mixed-to-negative reactions to the second.  I don't know if I've seen any of his projects where he's gotten really great performances from marginal actors.

That I blame on Damon Lindelof.  That guy is the most over-hyped "writer" going.  He should change his name to McGuffin.

Saw the  movie today and thought it was excellent.  I did get the feel that they could be wrapping up the Iron Man single movie series and just have him in The Avengers sequels.  I think I'd be ok with that, even though I thoroughly enjoyed all three IM movies.

Star Wars Universe / Re: Are you ready for yearly Star Wars films?
« on: April 22, 2013, 12:36 AM »
I got a couple local buddies with 4 and 5 year old boys...  I envy them.  It's good timing.

I think that's the guys who should be most excited are the ones with lil kids.

I have mixed feelings about this.  The part that thinks it's great is in line with you Jesse...my Son will be old enough to go to these movies and I'll be able to take my son to see Star Wars in the theater.

On the otherhand, I'm afraid that oo many people are going to have their hands on these, I wasn't fond of GL just surrounding himself with yes men, but too may people having input might be just as detrimental.  Also, with so much coming out, it might actually be too much.

She was the female lead - married to Leonidas.

And unlike Game of Thrones...she has a nude scene.

I have to say, Cersei may be one of the biggest shockers.  Maybe it's the hair color just throws me off, and don't get me wrong I think she's cute on the show, but she's f'n smoking off it.  Way hotter in her natural hair color and all dolled up in modern clothes.  I'm kinda floored.

Go watch 300 again.

I actually like the Mickey Jedi Starfighter...but I've been kind of a sucker for the Disney stuff.

The Wookiee Arcade / Re: Disney Kills LucasArts

I think the last rue good game Lucasarts put out was Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy.  Fun games to play with excellent storylines.  The Dark Forces games are truly the best to come out of Lucasarts.

I'm glad that they're bringing in new blood because 90% of the people they just brought over from Woodbury is nothing more than walker bait!

1:6 Scale Figures and Collectibles / Re: 1/6 TPM Obi-Wan
« on: April 2, 2013, 07:43 PM »
This Obi-Wan showed up today and it is fantastic!  The likeness is excellent and there are tons of extra hands even more action posed feet.  The best by far though is the light up lightsaber!  I did not expect that since none pf my other figures came with one.  Is this a new feature?

Thanks for the info.  I've always been curious about the game since I liked KOTOR and KOTOR II so much, but I don't like to play MMORPGs partly for the monthly fee after I purchase a game at full price, partly because I prefer more FPS type multiplayer....and probably if I started playing I'd end up getting divorced and having to find a new place to live!   ;D

Lori and T-Dog's deaths were fakes and they are hiding in the prison, because they hooked up and didn't want anyone to know about it.  Lori loaded Carl's gun with blanks.

No one died this season, not even Merle. We flashback and see that Daryl killed some other zombie with a prosthetic arm that he imagined was Merle.

There were no living prisoners, either. They found 5 corpses in the cafeteria and Beth wrote stories about them interacting with Rick's group (turns out she's been chronicling events and what we've seen is her fictionalized account of the survivors' struggles).

Then Bobby Ewing steps out of the shower and discovers that JR is a zombie and Superman 3 and 4 never happened.

Best. Post. Ever.

I'm kind of curious to play the free version but I have a question.  Can I finish the Revan storyline if I play the free version or would I have to purchase the game and a subscription?

Got the processing e-mail.  I'm kind of excited to get this one.  Probably my last Sideshow figure and it's been a while since I've added anything to the collection.
