Thursday: Received my Covert Ops Troopers
Wednesday: Darth Vader Bust arrived and picked up the Battlefront II game for PSP and PS2 for $37.99 each.
It's been a pretty decent week!

« on: November 4, 2005, 09:52 AM »So, I'm not usually too quick to shout scalper, but tonight I have to do just that. I stopped by my closest Target on the way home, ran the DPCI, came up dry, and went to the CS counter to check the area. The list printed some 8 stores in the area that had them in stock, in numbers of 8, 16, 24, or 36. I called around, and every store but one no longer had them in stock. Three of the stores I called actually remembered the item and said, in each case, that someone had bought them all earlier on.
So at least around here, for now, this figure is high-profile scalper bait. ********.
Same stuff is going on down here, Jared. I typically don't have too much trouble with the Target exclusives but this one for some reason is going to prove to be a pain in my @ss! Even the Target employees are talking about this one for some reason. All the other exclusives I've asked about they have no idea what I'm talking about. This one though, they finish my sentence before I'm even done asking...

Ray, each individual booster pack of 7 minis is comprised of the following:
1 Rare or Very Rare
2 Uncommons
4 Commons
If you get a sealed case of 12 boosters, there should be 4 VRs and 8 Rares in there. Looking forward to hearing your pulls... Good luck!

Let us know how you fare on that Clone Strike case! Obviously the prize from that set is the Darth Maul ($50-$60), with Aurra Sing running in a solid second now. The Qui-Gon and Mace are also quite valuable. But that whole set has gone WAY up lately, since it's out-of-print now, and WOTC is saying there's no plans for a re-release of it, like they did recently for the Rebel Storm set.

BF77, how much did the case cost ya? Just being nosey (sp?) is all.
It was about $165 + $15 priority mail shipping. I guess it's not too bad when you look at what they're going for on ebay but still... oh well, I'm really hoping it's worth it! Does anyone know for sure what the breakdown of a case from CS is? How many VR, R, UC & C you get?

This is true. I say Target and TRU should exchange exclusives
. Seems like Target has put the lockdown on Clone exclusives which explains why most of theirs are so hard to get. Well, that and their policy...

What hasbro should do is hold off on the bases all together and make a mail away base with a card board backround that's large enough to set up a scene for a bout 10-12 figures. Like a Death Star Docking Bay base w/ backround, Jedi Temple base with backround, etc. That or make it so that you would have to buy those 10-12 figures w/ interlocking bases to create the scene and mail away for the backround card. I'm not quite as talented as the customizers on this board so I can use all the help I can get
