I always wanted to get a Wrangler....and even looked at one this week, but the lack of cargo space pretty much kills it for me.  They fixed that with the Unlimited, but the price is too high.

The Liberty has quite a bit of power with it's 3.7L V6, and I'll take mine anywhere a stock Jeep can go.  I've been driving the new Liberty around for the past couple of days (going to sign all the paperwork in a few minutes) and I really enjoy it!  The new body style is a touch bigger and feels stronger...a little Hummer H3'ish.

There are books you can get here in Colorado that map out all the trails in great detail and even give you the difficulty of each.  I'd take my Liberty anywhere you could take a stock Jeep.

It was a 2003 Liberty.  Put every single one of it's 130,000+ miles on it....even took it off-road up in the rockies a few times.

Bit of a crazy week for me.  My Jeep died on Monday so I ended up trading it in for a brand new Jeep Liberty today.  I like the feel of this one over my 2003 version....seems like a bit smoother of a ride.  It also has some nicer features like a reversible cargo floor so it can either be carpet or hard plastic.

Not thrilled about having 5 years of car payments when it wasn't really expected, but it will come in handy.

Good luck with that one!

I haven't seen you online in so long, I thought you got rid of your X-box!

I'm not getting Halo Reach...but I do plan on getting the new downloadable content for Mass Effect 2...you and Liara go after the Shadow Broker!   :D

Collect All 92! / Re: Han Solo (Bespin Outfit)
« on: August 29, 2010, 02:03 AM »
The Vintage version was my definitive Han Solo.  I hope the do a better modern version soon.  I want to put him in the BMF Falcon cockpit along with the new Hoth Leia and SL Threepio since that's where he spent a majority of ESB.

Oddly enough, I never had the vintage version carded.  I got him with the Sears Bespin playset.

And now you know why I never purchased a single animated style figure.

3655
That's why I got two.

What a dick. I hope that guy is killed by a huge rolling barrel, a sentient fireball, or an enormous mallet coming down on his head. Being mauled by a giant ape would be acceptable as well.

I'd like to nominate this as the best post in JD history.

i laughed for about 5 minutes straight!   :D

Collect All 92! / Re: Imperial Tie Fighter Pilot

Great choice in ultimate modern version.  I don't have that one personally, but it is a great looking figure which looks like it's being re-released in the upcoming two-packs.

The vintage TIE fighter pilot is another great figure....I used him in Darth Vader's TIE since I did not have the regular TIE.

I like Venture Brothers, but also like Metalocalypse, FullMetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, and Ghost in the Shell.

Wow...interesting perspective.  Although I kind of like the "happy ending" of ROTJ, it would be interesting to see how a darker ending would have been received.

Shame that they were making decisions based on toy sales.  I think that if they made a good story, the toys would still have sold.  It's similar to what George Lucas said about effects during the first trilogy....that special effects should not drive the story, they're just the setting.

By the time the prequels were being made it seems he changed his tune on that a well.
