Thanks for the kind wishes on the 9th anniversary of my 29th birthday. 
Kinda weird since I have to work tonight so we're going out to dinner tomorrow (and there will be cake). We're going to go to this Japanese place in town that has the Hibachi style tables...something about a Japanese chef throwing shrimp at you just screams happy birthday to me!
Tonight, I might either play Rockband 2 (which I got last week as an early present) or watch some of Band of Brothers which I got today. I also got a signed copy of Bill Reilly's A Bold Fresh Piece of Humanity, I like his books.

« on: January 13, 2009, 08:16 PM »If any commercial ever deserved a 4 1/2 old bump, it's the one for Coors Light where the dickheads "talk" to the head coach at a press conference. (Yeah, I know there's more than one. Pick any of them--they all suck.)
Who are the ad wizards who came up with this one? (Seriously, tell me--because I'm going to track them down and kill them.)
I kinda like those.
Every now and then one falls flat on its face, but I think about 2/3rds of them are pretty good.
I'm with Rob. I like those too. Any chance to see Jim Mora say "Playoffs?!? Playoffs?!?!" over an over again is fine with me.
Now for me, I hate those Gieco commercials with the Cave men. The jingle is catchy but I hate the commercials.
I agree, but would also like to add the Free Credit Report commercials. That John Mayer wannabe needs to be shot.

The rest of Season four debuts this Friday. Anyone watch the latest 10 webisodes on Sci Fi.com? Strange Story, but I'm now thinking Geada might be the last Cylon (of course that's probably what they want us to think).

How could it be a surprise when we knew it from the previews?
I like how the domestic terror plot is tied in with the Africa Genocide. Hopefully they'll tell us how the Colonel survived the mine detonation from Redemption. Although he was probably the furthest away when it blew.

Pretty good end of the season. I see at least one movie showing how they fight to get to take Atlantis back to Pegasus.
I wish they didn't just do the Star Trek fix and throw out the wormhole drive. I thought that was a bit cheesy.

I'm not saying that they don't need a better WR. Hixon is ok, but he's a better special teams guy. I just don't think T.O. would be a good fit with the Giants. Get a rookie before T.O.
