I think that could be because we've been clamoring for an AT-TE since 2002 and a Millenium Falcon that we could put figures in the cockpit since 1995.

Although my wife and I do not have children yet, this does concern me. I have a couple of friends with Autistic children. One has a child with Asberger's Syndrome and the other has one with Asberger's and the other is pretty severe as he does not talk and it's tough for them to have people over to the house.
I worked in special education a long time ago and understand how much a routine is important to Autistic children. Such a tough thing for parents to go through.

The Maul Saber is probably the coolest one I have, but the Dooku one looks pretty sweet and the TPM/AOTC Obi-Wan is probably my favorite hilt design going. Also that would look more accurate than the ROTS Obi-Wan since the electronics made the "neck" a little thick on that one.

I agree. Big year for me and my Obi-Wan focus. I also like the Rebel pilots coming out whether they are in comic pack, evolution, or battle pack form. The ships look nice, but most will be a pass for me due to lack of space. Looks like they held back some good stuff for SDCC (Willrow Hood being the first thing to come to mind), so it will be interesting to see what they have there.
I am also excited about the two Force FX sabers they showed. Wish I could get a release date on them!

« on: February 16, 2009, 02:05 PM »Via HTS and WM, I've picked up the entire Legacy Wave 5 (ANH) over the past week+ (and a few extras). Really great wave. Its sort of strange around here right now, the WMs have nothing but Legacy/Legends "realistic" figures, and Target has only Clone Wars figures (and 1 Yarna). Luckily both have the newest waves, so that's a nice surprise.
I'm shocked it's only the one Yarna. I could go out today and between three Wal-Marts and two Targets nearby I could get 50 Yarnas and probably the same amount of Ak Revs.

« on: February 16, 2009, 02:01 PM »At $15 each, it takes a lot for a comic pack to impress me enough to purchase it, and none of these do it for me. I will pick up the Amanaman guy though.
Oddly enough, that's about the only one I'd surely pass on.
I dunno, I'm not too impressed with them. About the only figure I'm excited about is the Female Imperial Knight. The sleeveless Luke just look horrible. Don't know who the other characters are.
I'm not the biggest fan of that Luke, but the Lumiya figure makes it a buy for me. I also like the Darth Krayt.

The presentation said that it fits all previous and future gunships. I don't have any gunships, but if I did, I could see buying two packs per gunship then you would could fill the gunner stations and the pilot seats.
