Power of the Force 2 / Re: Favorite POTF2 Figure.
« on: May 3, 2004, 12:02 AM »
When people listed "sandtrooper" here, I'm assuming they meant the POTJ version and not the POTF2 version.  Because the POTF2 version looks hideous next to CT stormies and POTJ sandies.

And now for business:

Removable helmet Vader

Runners up:

Ree-Yees
CT stormie
Snowtrooper
Orrimaarko
Gamorrean Guard
Mon Mothma
Momaw Nadon
Ewoks: Wicket and Logray 2 pack
Klaatu, Nikto, Barada 3 pack
CT Jawa with gonk
Lak Sivrak
Muftak
Bossk
4-Lom
Ugnaughts
Ackbar
EV9D9
Pote Snitkin
Weequay
CT Greedo

Update:

I did my laundry.  I'm wearing boxers.  I was having more fun without them.

For the record - After some initial animosity - Dressel is my favorite republican ever.

(no sarcasm either)

That's the reaction I was going for.

You're not alone.

I respect the decision here at JD 100%, and I appreciate the posts from the staff here (particularly JJ's & OCB's)  explaining the reasoning behind the decision.  I'm not angry with the decision, just a bit disappointed.  I mean, it's a shame that we can discuss silly & relatively meaningless things such as wearing/not wearing underwear, cat enemas, birthdays, the Wampa's left horn, etc., but we can't discuss the important real-life events taking place such as a war that has cost 738 lives (and that's not a political statement, that is reality).  Don't get me wrong.  I know that political discussion can become very heated very quickly, so I understand.  Precautions need to be taken.  It's just a shame that we can't discuss what's really going on (political or otherwise) in this world.  Oh well, time to start a "Favorite Jelly flavor" thread.  :)

Apple.

So, how 'bout those Yankees? :-*

Kevin

I'm a New Yorker and a Yankee fan transplanted into Boston for the last 4 years (coming to an end in 3 weeks).

Let me tell you, the Red Sox fans here have gone so long without winning a championship, 85 years, that they've actually made a regular season series with the Yankees in April their "world series."  You can't believe the carrying on.  Every year I've been here they've started out saying, "THIS is the year."  This is the 4th straight year I've heard this.

Now I don't know the exact reasons why, and I don't think anyone does, but every single year I've been here the Red Sox are smoking the first 1/2 of the year and take a dive after the All Star Break.  And it's not just because the Yankees go nuts as the playoffs approach.  The Red Sox just never have been able to hold it together.

I think the Yankees are going to win their division this year, again.  If that's the case, maybe the Sox won't even make the playoffs.

I have two Fambaas and they are opened.  If you ever decide to sell 1-2 of those, let this Wookie know! ;)

Or he'll rip your arms out of their sockets.

CHEWIE equates not acquiring your fambaas, to losing.

I think, if I see this...I may get it.

Kevin

God knows that one thing I have never had trouble finding has been TRU 4 packs.

 :D

I've had a bad run when it comes to TRU 4 Packs. I think I'll just go through Amazon.com for this one.

Kevin

This is shocking to me.  All the TRUs in my area still have pretty much all of these 4 packs, complete with the dust film on them.  None have been clearanced yet, and I still haven't purchased any of them because they're all basically rehashes with a gimmick thrown in to try to get me to buy 3 or 4 figures that I already have.  Some of them I'd buy clearanced.  None of them I'd buy at full price.

This idea of the Naboo 4 pack is the only one I'd buy at full price so far.  It's got pure army building potential.

I chose to keep the friendships and sense of community.

And this is the biggest reason why I'm going to be here, and not at scum.  I really started to not enjoy scum at all for your aforementioned reasons, now my transition to this place is complete.

This place has no choice but to rock with a policy like this.

It was a no-brainer.

How are you liking Jeff Weaver?

It's to keep the pee-stains, skidmarks, and poop-stench from forming directly on your jeans.

So, if you're really careful about shaking and wiping - I guess you'll be just fine.

Oh, and be extra careful around your zipper.

LOL

skid marks?

I've never felt so free.

The restrictions, the confinement, the cloth prison...

It's gone.

I haven't done my laundry in 3 weeks and finally ran out of boxers.  So, I'm not wearing any.  It's amazing!  I feel so liberated.

Can somebody tell me what the purpose of underwear is?  After this religious experience of the last few days, I can only conclude that underwear is a man-made prison, much like taxes and office buildings.

Somebody bring me back.  Why do we need it?

5773
Yeah I was excited there could be a new Veers and Bib, but then reality set in.  It's highly likely they are just repacks.  I hope not.

Can you imagine how out of place that General Veers pack-in  would look carded with the other figures.

Is there anyone that thinks that Veers is not one of the worst 20 figures in the 1995 - present era?

5774
My Cubbies get to Busch stadium in St Louis and have their heads up their rears again there.  Wood threw the ball past 6-6 Derrek Lee that led to a run.  Then 3 relief pitchers walk 4 batters in the bottom of the 9th to lose to the Cardinals.  Sick.  Walks the winning run in.  Not so good.

Kerry Wood should get a pass on that one.  If not though, we would love to see him in pinstripes in NY!!

5775
Force Guy, it's the general consensus here, long before you showed up, that this would be a place where we'd like to see politics and religion avoided if possible; 2 subjects that most of us feel contributed strongly to RS being a flame fest and a place where disrespect is common place.

So the administration here has spoken, it's a rule now not to have politics thread, and that's the end of it.

Do you really want to continue this argument?  Just let it go.

Increase the peace!

 :)
