Revenge of the Sith / Re: ROTS Line: Any You Never Saw/Found?

The figure I saw the least of was the black clone pilot. Everthing else was found in abundance at one point.

The descriptions sound great to me. I look forward to these, if I'm still in the hobby at that point. :P

Hmm. Newforce doesn't not have the disclaimer that the Bounty Hunt figures are not guarunteed. Could these be simple one per casers?

Regardless, I'm still not liking the sound of this.

This aution would seem to put to bed the rumor of The Ultimate Bounty Hunt Collection and the Lucastrooper promo. However, that leaves EE's marks regarding "Chase" type figures. Could these be two seperate promotions? Or would confusion seem to be the order of the day?

I'm definately going to do some building with the Scouts, but not nearly as much as with the Stormies. Around 20.

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Battlestar Galactica...who's watching?

Alright, we've had two new episodes this year. Is the show still kicking butt or what?

Although, I have to admit that I felt the Apollo dream sequences were out place. They were great, but I think they would have been more effective as part of an "Apollo" episode. Also, I'm dissapointed that Adama bought the justification for the Pegasis' OX on his bridge. Didn't Cain need him? I would have addressed that situation better, even if Adama knew that he was being set up, but decided to let things play out for the good of the fleet. First real flaws I've ever felt the show had.

After seeing Jersey Girl, my confidence in Kevin Smith's films has been shaken.

Believe it of not, Jersey Girl is the first Kevin Smith film I ever saw, and I actually liked it, but I think I'm bias because I have kids and could totally relate to some of the stuff going on. I have since seen clerks, which I thought was genius.

I saw Brokeback Mountain Saturday and am sorry to say I can't recommend it. I think all the publicity it's getting is somewhat unjustified. The performances were great, Heath Ledger was amazing and there wasn't a bad actor in the bunch. Ang Lee also made the story gorgeous, but the problem I had was that I couldn't get on board with the relationship. It barely seemed motivated and it's the crux of the story.

I've not see the Chewie variation, but the stuffed link under the fur is actually kind of cool.

Yeah I'm not going to go too crazy army building this one because there is a VOTC snowie rumored to be on the horizon.

Really? I've not heard that one yet. :)

I got an e-mail from EE that says that this wave is IN STOCK. Can you believe that?  :o Three waves in one month. '06 will be done by March. :P

I think that e-mail just meant that the Carkoon wave was now in-stock.  The rest of the waves are just up for pre-order.... at least that's how I interpreted it.

Actually believe it or not, I think Anton is right. I went to a local dealer the other day, EPlanettoys.com, and the owner there told me the same thing. He said they were going to get the new figures in soon (within a week or so) I asked which waves, he said all of them, Geonosis, Coriscant, Carkoon, Hoth, and the Cantina. They order directly from Hasbro. He said there would be almost 8 waves out by March. this could really be one hellish year.

 :o :o :o

I've said that in jest, but I could never believe that it would happen. First, it would be killer on the wallet, and second, what would be coming out for the remainder of the year?

I read a rumor somewhere that the Carkoon wave was in production in 2004 as part of the OTC line, but got bumped due to the DVD release surprise. If this is true, I can see Hoth and Carkoon released on top of each other because of logisics. I, and my wallet, can only hope the others will be spread more evenly.

This is the worst kind of tease. A picture where you can't make out any detail. :P

If the bounty hunt thing pertains to the VOTC, which I hope it does, I hope that Bounty Hunt is just a clever name and does not mean that these will be chase. Also, think about it, these can not ship in the same assortments with the basic figures due to size.

Ouch, my bad. The formating of those e-mail always comes screwed up. The In Stock note was on the same line as the corescant wave. Sorry 'bout that. :-X

Now that I've gotten the Hoth wave, I have to say that I think the AT-AT driver is the best figure by far! Simply great.

Veers and Derlin are my next favorates. Veers gets some negative points for the lack of the back plate, and Derlin for the tiny blaster which isn't even made for his hand.

The Power Droid is great for what I would call a kit bash, and I think the accessories give R2 and edge of the other straight repacks, Vader and Reekin.

I rank the snowtrooper at the bottom, there's just no reason to use POTF2 parts anymore, and he's yet another officer.
