Where were they found? Also, what country? Who's reporting? There was a big deal when the Carkon wave first hit because people found them in Canada and neglected to pass along that info. There were lot's of false reports too, even with pictures.

Here's the Gareth thread in question. The reason why no knows about it is beacuse, dispite the fact that almost all who got taken were in America, Jeremy desided that a thread in the feedback section was not needed and kept only the one thread opened in the Europe section where all the American forum members would natually look.
I could be wrong, but I think Gareth was coddled.

I would guess a different plastic mix as well. In looking through my blasters to place the right colors with the right figures, I noticed various shades of the blue/black ones and would only speculate that varients like yours could have been easily manufactured.

I hate to dis anybody, but if Jeremy did get releaved of his postition, it could have been due to his, IMO, poor handeling of the Gareth situation. If any of you are familliar with the Gareth situation, the way he handled it, it seemed like he was going out of his way to protect someone who ripped off more than a $3000 worth of SW merchendice from aroung 20 RS forum members. He actually suspended and issued many warnings for talking badly in any way about a guy who blaitantly ripped people off, bought every poor excuse Gareth gave and made it very diffucult for people who got ripped off to find out that they got ripped off.

Apparently the hunt will be involved with the new VOTC figs. While the figs themselves will be shipped everywhere (like regular cases), certain figs will have some special type of Proof of Purchase on it. This is the Bounty Hunt. get enough of the special POPs and you can mail them in for a George Lucas in Stormtrooper Disguise figure.
If this is what the Bounty Hunt is, I'll breathe a sigh of relief. Of course, this is still a rumor.
That would be much better. Having to tack down UPC's is better than having to track down figures.
