Got Count Dooku last night.  I had passed on it but upon learning that you can chop off the hands and head, well hell I rushed to Target and picked one of the 22 there. 

TRU had the megapacks.  But those dumb TRU employees were opening up the megapacks and putting the individual figures on the pegs.  If I had not seen it with my own eyes I would not believe it.  Nice :-X

Well I thought the "conspiracy" theory was better that the real one.  But I guess Hasbro is really just a bunch of dumb *****.  Sad indeed.

The slideshow thing does gives them the opportunity to present new product without actually showing it off.  Why risk it?

Not to be a pessimistic jerk but since they up the cup prices $3 for no apparent reason, my guess is that suggested retail would be the same but Target will sell it at 14.99.  And I have to say that $2 is nothing but is enough for me not to buy it.  $15 for a figure you can do at home with a $5.24 SA clone and some 3.99 paint is f-ing ridiculous.

Since they are the same why do you want Kenner and Galoob back?  Technically they never went away.

A simple solution is take a Sharpie to your figures and write Kenner on them.

I totally agree but isn't that also convinient for Hasbro.  Now they don't have to show new product at cons and then say that they already had a bad experience and therefore will not be showing off the line. 

The whole thing seems too convinient to me :o

I'm happy about all the new clones.  I am litterally shocked (and not by clones :P) about this.  Even if they suck, like Bacarra, it adds life to a diorama and frees time from customizing.

I have to admit that I am extremely dissapointed with Hasbro's new stuff.  I think the Unleashed line looked nice.  I never bought all of them b/c Hasbro always makes sure of producing crap in any line but I got at least half of them maybe more.  Still I will miss them, they were a huge improvement over the epic force line, but the tiny unleashed doesn't do it for me.  We found out about multipacks, that was nice but they fudge it up b/c of repacks and rehashes.  All I wanted was a vehicle.  I cannot believe they can put out something like the ARC-170 and the Wookie copter and turn around and crap the rest of the year.
Oh well, I guess it is hiatus time for me...

On a personal prediction note I cannot believe Hasbro will not put out a Cantina Han in 2005, I guess we are seeing the dawning of Endor Han.

It does suck and they guy that stole it should have his gonads fall off but this is Hasbro's own darn fault.  Why was the guy so distracted that it got stolen in the first place?  How many people were around and "nobody" saw this, pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.  Why was this the only one?  You bring your only copies of a finished product to show and have no security? 

To be it sounds like a clever way to cancel a figure and blame it on something else.  Now we just have to wait and see if the figure gets made or if it gets scrap (AKA Hasbro plan).

I stop buying Hasbro's crap years ago.  I just buy what I like for my loose collection.  If a figure is really cool looking, then I might buy one to keep carded but I don't do that for all figures.  The truth is that about 35 to 45% of the Star Wars line is pure crap.  I have no compulsions. :-X

Cody Baccara sucks a$$.  It is a horrible figure that only looks good in the package.  The moment you open it, huge HUGE dissapointment. :'( :'( :'(
