It is fun so far. I give major points to any star wars property that gives speaking lines to OT aliens. Speaking parts for a wolfman, an Ish Tib is great. I'm even handing points for Neel and his famliy on this one.

I like the ship too. The interior seems mysterious. It feels like there is more to be discovered there.

Final take... this feels like Star Wars Twilight. Not the awesome Twilight ship, but a weird soapy production that was poorly conceived, and odd characters and bad dialogue.

I'm debating how soon they can actually do normal releases of Greedo, Nabrun and Arleil. It would seem weird to make those standard releases available before the Cantina ships.  What does it say for tier figures if they'll just make them anyway and release before the project ships? What would our motivation be to back future projects or buying multiples if the backers don't get first crack at owning new figure.

Pretty sure the mainline releases of Grogu and Offworld Jawa happened before the Razor Crest shipped with it's versions of those guys.  And we've already got the mainline variants of Zeb and Ezra shipped with Kanan on the way soon and The Ghost hasn't shipped with it's versions of those guys yet.

Hasbro doesn't seem to have any issues with similar time release as long as there is something "unique" about the HasLab version that still makes it special/unique.

Yeah, I guess you are right. The Cantina character seem to feel different to me as we've been waiting 47 years for those. I don think I ever blinked an eye when characters from the Razorcrest and the Ghost had maneline releases in advance of the arival of the haslab ships.

And I'm not sure there are any figure pack-ins that would make a Death Star a must have for people that were on the fence.

I've been thinking the same thing. Unless they add all the Imperial Dignitaries as a base or tiers to a Death Star project.

HasLab gross sales, based on current "final" total for 21,768 for The Ghost:

Galactus - $12,324,091.89
The Ghost - $10,883,782.32
Razor Crest - $9,838,568.89
H.I.S.S. - $8,031,332.28
Sentinel- $7,655,331.27

14,737 x $449.99 = approx. $6.6mil in gross sales (+/- $0.7mil)

Who would have guessed the Cantina would have had the least value of gross sales out of that list? I do wonder if the Cantina has the biggest margins. They seem to have offered a lot less sculpting, engineering, and materials than other Haslabs. I paid only $60 more for Unicron and the engineering for him had to be crazy.

I wanted the wolf man more than the other unlocks… do we still think it’s likely he makes it into the main line somehow?

I have a feeling we'll see each of these figures pipelined on different card backs in the mainline fairly soon.

Maybe they have a deal to sell off 4000-6000 units to online vendors to make up the balance. Who knows?

Also, did they ever post a picture of adding the deluxe side of the cantina with only the alcove arches and furniture? My thought is to look past the seated patrons and through the arches at the rest of the cantina. Maybe that's a way to display it all in one piece without walling off the whole horizontal perspective of the scene?

The problem is the extra tiers are all lackluster.  Who needs another Greedo?  Even though the other two are a bit more interesting, they have been done before, even though it has been quite some time.  And they have already said they would rerelease them on another cardback.  Make a Chalmun or an Ackmena, then maybe you would see higher numbers.  Ultimately it boils down to people wanting to drop $400 to $500 on an item that takes up a lot of space.

I agree one the poor choice of the tiered characters. I can't get on board with Ackmena and Chalmun feels like more of a figment of my imagination. I would take less marketable but odd looking characters like Atheloe.

Dang I would have like the Marauder but I guess that was a long shot seeing as how they’ve only got Hunter to go with it so far.

The Twilight was #1 on my most wanted list of ships for a long time before the Ghost took over that spot, so I’d be super happy to see this one, although it feels like there is almost no fan push for it.

I’d also love the Jedi T-6 Shuttle. I was checking out the Lego one the other day and it’s a pretty neat design.

The twilight has always been high on my list. I'm not saying it's a great choice for everyone though.

The dream figure pack is top on my list though if it is cantina patrons I will need a cantina to go with them. If they do a cantina, I'm still on board with my vote to keep it modular. The bar section could likely fit in a 12-14 inch deep shelf, as could either side wall of the building. This would keep it flexible for people who definitely don't have the space for a full table display. You could display the whole thing separately on three shelves if need be.

I don't think he's the type to fill Shin in on all his plans.

That seems true. Wasn't he speaking to her in general teams about his mission on that planet? That's where the story seems clunky. Shin isn't totally in the dark. BAylan has big plans and is clear about that, but Shin doesn't get any details. That confuses me on why he has her around. A master doesn't always have to be straight forward with details as we've seen before. So, this is either an interesting new dynamic for a master and apprentice or ... worse.

Maybe its time for a rewatch. Hopefully it's not more confusing after a second time.

So does anybody think Shin knows what Baylan's Goals are? It seems like she doesn't.

Baylan seems cool, or maybe he just thinks he's cool? He clearly knows about the force trinity, but he kind of seems like that "cool guy" you know who's pretty tiresome when you consider all his BS.

Scroll up to my post from 9/24… I was underwhelmed.

Thanks,
How does the color match up with the trophy wall set that came with Han and Ree-yees?

How are the paint apps on the playset? Ive seen a few reviews where they said the walls did not look as good as people had hoped.

Maybe they spent to much on the paint apps for Boba's old county buffet table?

I think the "crates" are more likely to be caskets.  And that's because the place they were taken from was referred to as catacombs by Thrawn.  That's a ritual burial place.

I was kind of thinking the same thing after the zombie troopers respawned.  Maybe these are some kind of super-zombies that will be reanimated by the night sisters.

Yeah, between generations of dead witches and deceased crew of the Chimaera there would be a lot of bodies to reanimate. I'm guessing not all of the crew had survived to this point in the timeline.

I had to look up troop size of a star destroyer...

Imperial I-class Star Destroyers had over 37,000 crew on board— 9,235 officers and 27,850 enlisted personnel. The complement of 9,700 stormtroopers added to a total of 46,785 crew and passengers.[1] With the bridge being located in the upper half of the ship, the officer's quarters were located right below it

It was a far bigger announcement that Transformers fans got a new shot at Fortress Maximus. That's a big deal. For star wars fans that that might be like a reissue of a republic gunship , Turbo tank, or AT-TE at an affordable price.
