Watto's Junk Yard / Re: A Game of Thrones (HBO)

I really enjoyed last nights episode with the exception of the Gendry/Raven/Dragons showing up so fast issue.  Its a shame there isn't a better way to communicate than Ravens but I'm willing to overlook the "time travel".

When the Dragons showed up, I couldn't imagine that would be the end of the Night King but I certainly didn't expect the lance throw!  Definitely changes the game for Dany's army.  I did think for a moment when Jon went off all rogue again, he would get a chance to ride his own Dragon.

I sure hope Arya is setting up Littlefinger via the long Con... otherwise, the whole Sansa and Arya storyline is very frustrating.

Loved tonight's episode! We can discuss more after everyone has caught up.

The giant crossbow is kind of dumb but whatever.

I swear that's the same Crossbow that Bard used to kill Smaug.  Its a shame they decided to go down that same path.   I hope Drogon isn't missing a scale on his belly.

I think you have him confused with Jim Ward.

I haven't thought about Jim Ward in years... thanks for the flashback!

:'( Not my favorite Bond, but his movies are still fun to watch and were part of my youth.

I'm going to go with "not the best Bond, but still my favorite Bond".

RIP, Sir Roger Moore.  :'(

Totally with you guys on this one... not the best James Bond but but he was my James Bond.  The first Bond from my youth that I watched and always a favorite.

The end credits were fun too.  The extra scenes were great, but they had some other little bits of animation through all of it as well.  If you watch closely, some of the lines throughout the credits just say "I AM GROOT" then change to the actual name after a few seconds.  Did anyone spot Goldblum's Grandmaster in one of the picture bubbles?  Not even in the Guardians movie, but a nice link to Thor's upcoming flick.

Yea, I caught both of those during the credits roll as well.  Its funny how Marvel has created a way that everyone stays until the last blip of the "reel" is finished.

Oh, and who's that at the end?

You mean his friend from work? That made me laugh.

3 episodes into Iron Fist, enjoying it so far.

I though Iron Fist was sort of a hot mess. But I am looking forward to the Defenders!

It's sad when I'm reaching for my phone to check stuff during the program rather than during the commercials.

I was thinking the same thing.  Sometimes I have to force myself to put my phone down.

I still enjoy the show but I don't feel the same supsense that I used to feel.

Was it just me or did Vader's neck look really large? Maybe it was the 3D.

Yes!  My only complaint is that Vader looked a bit "off" because his neck was too large (also watched in 3D).

Otherwise, I thoroughly enjoyed it.  I was hoping they wouldn't mess up Leia... it was just about perfect.

Just started (and caught up) watching this show. I had no idea what it was or what it was about when I started last week. I must say, I've really enjoyed it - I wish I would have timed it better to not have to wait a few more days for the season finale.  ;D

The twists and turns have been excellent and I have no idea how it will all play out. I was sort of assuming that the Man in black was going to be Arnold. The acting really has been superb. They really do a great job during the host diagnostics scenes.

Yep, total snooze fest. Seems like all they are trying to do is show off all these new communities. I guess they are building for the "war" after winter finale which for the first time since I've stated watching the show, I sort of looking forward too.

I don't mind them moving around to different cast members and storylines, but I don't understand why it has to be show specific.  I'd rather see a little bit of what's going on each place than what feels like stand alone filler episodes where they only made a small portion of the cast come into work that day.  You can basically show the same stuff, but edit it together.  I love TWD, but these episodes feel pretty lazy to me.

I thought I read somewhere that since the Cast gets paid per episode when they do full stand alone episodes, not everyone gets paid for every episode.  That's the only "practical" reason I see for this approach.  I'm sure there is some "story telling reason" for this but I hate it.  I would much rather just see all the stories advancing simultaneously.

It was all their mattresses that were taken by The Saviors.  Apparently they just like to be dicks by taking people's stuff and burning it.

Ah, that makes complete sense.  I must have been more sleepy than I realized.  When I was looking at it, I thought those were giant burning chunks of concrete.  Gonna go back and look watch it again now.   ;)  Thanks

Interesting episode that I'm not sure needed to be strung out for 90 minutes.

One question that wasn't clear to me... Michonne seemed upset at whatever she saw at the end. I couldn't place what that was looked like a steaming pile on rocks. Did anyone recognize this?  If so, it went right over my head.
