Feedback / Re: I Am Sith's feedback

Big thanks to Michael for my 3 Biker Scout Kubricks!  It's custom time y'all!

I just saw some close-ups from SDCC, and I'm very happy with him.  However, I'm sure there are many out there who will pick it apart based on such trivial flaws that the average collector won't ever notice or care.  Like every other Vader ever produced.  I'm still going to have to get this one, and I'm definitely afraid that the $129.99 prediction is an accurate one!

I like this one a lot.  Definitely will have to get this one.  I've been trying to nail down an animated colors version at a good price with no luck, so I might just give up and get this one!

Mine should be here Friday, and I can't freakin wait!  I love this character, and the figure is sweet!  Now, just bring us a Quinlan Vos!

Yeah, but let's be honest, we're all hooked from the teaser on anyway!  I'd love to get about a half dozen of these things so I can customize them, but I ain't about to spend about $90-$110 (I'm guessing) just to paint some!  I'm even more excited to see which troopers come out next!

I'll definitely reserve my judgement until I see the full 360 on it.  However, I'm definitely in on getting this one.  I wonder what it'll go for price wise...

The Legacy Collection / Re: Recent Legacy Purchases
« on: July 19, 2008, 08:14 PM »
I was able to score the whole Legacy Wave 2 set at $3.32 each!  Couldn't believe it was such an error like that, but I ain't asking, I just bought them!  Found them all at a Target in NW Indiana.  No other finds all throughout the region.

Ordered mine as well.  However, I have a question on it...It says it's a "Domestic Exclusive."  What does that mean, and what is the exclusive piece?  Couldn't find any of that info anywhere.

The Indianapolis Convention Center is contracted through Gen Con to run their activities, so I can see that being out unless they find some other venue.  I live in Indiana, but NW Indiana, only 30-45 minutes from downtown Chicago.  I'd love for it to hit Chi-Town so I don't have to get a hotel (anyone's welcome to pitch a tent in my backyard!), and I think that McCormack Place is a much better location for it than rosemont.  I've been to Wizard World Chicago for the past 5 years, and even though they do have a couple other rooms available for activities, I just don't think it's big enough.  With McCormack Place, you have their parking, plus overflow on the lot across the street and Soldier Field.  It's a couple miles from Michigan Avenue, Grant Park, Navy Pier, beaches, The Shedd Aquarium, and much more.  I wouldn't be opposed to Minneapolis, Indy, or maybe even Baltimore.  I've never gotten the chance to attend any of the Celebrations (even with 2 being a mere 2 hours away!), so I'm really pining for a Chicago location!

I, of course, am a sucker for all things with lightsabers, so this one will make it's way to my collection for sure.  As for those armored forms, I'm willing to bet that once the Clone Wars hits theaters, we're going to see a long line of armored forms.  SSC has always said that they won't release any until they get the sculpts exactly right, which means a helmet./head combo that are proportionate, and with the release of the Obi-Wan in clone armor, plus the recent polls regarding fans' most desired, they're coming.

In the meantime, SSC is just trying to create what will sell well, so Jedi and Sith are the biggest ones.  The Rebel Infantry trio didn't do as well as they had hoped, so they're just keeping with what they can move.  I'm dying for a Count Dooku, maybe a Komari Vossa (and with Aayla being produced, a Darth Talyn for the Sith line.

Man, those are some nice Kubricks you have.  I casually collect these, when I can find ones I want at a good price, and you have some that I've never seen that I'd love to get my hands on!  Too cool big guy!

I've seen Waves 1-3 in NW Indiana, and have gotten almost all of the ones I wanted.  Still missing Flint, can't find him anywhere.  Haven't seen the Red Ninja either.  I do so love this throwback styling.  I'm stuck on the fence on whether or now I should open these or leave them carded.

I got both on preorder about a whole minute after I got the email!  They both look great, and while the email said nothing about being exclusives anywhere, you KNOW that GG is not above THAT trick.
