The Legacy Collection / Re: Legacy Wave 13 - Expanded Universe

Well you're in luck...  sort of...

because the 2nd Imp Tech isn't going to be in that wave with the other container.

WTH are you kidding me?  thot that was the repack along w/ROTJ sucky Luke whatever repacks, now it's just the EU wave all by its lonesome?  Hadn't heard that one so thanx, kinda,  Jesse.  Here's to hoping he'll be in ANH Kenner style wave along with the DS trooper grey version they've talked about.

Courtesy of Jayson/Yakface:

Q2: There are bound to be several questions asked regarding the shocker of the last Legacy EU wave (wave 13) being set as a Toys"R"Us / online exclusve. With that troublesome news, what can be said about the production run for those figures. Were they produced in the same volume as prior waves or was there a shorter production run done to avoid costly over-stock now that the TLC line is no more?

A2: Most all of the red/white Legacy Droid Factory waves have been produced in lower production volumes than in previous years in order to make sure that figures don't slow up and we can bring the next waves in. Still, despite the lower production, we have still had difficulties with getting waves to flow evenly. The EU wave will be produced in a volume similar to that of the EpII wave that came out at the end of the blue/white Legacy Droid Factory run last Spring, making it the red/white wave with the shortest production run.

While the only good news about this is that while i NEVER saw AOTC wave in stores the good thing is that at least this wave will be condensed to 1 store and not spread out to the 3 major stores, so we MIGHT actually see descent numbers of these in TRU.  But I won't be holding my breath waiting for sales.  I'll grab them when I see them.

Really wanted the Imp Tech from this wave cuz of the neater looking container, had hoped to army build that but it looks like not.  Good thing Wally has put figs on sale for $6 already got 3 techs for that price.

Hope I can score more then 1 Spacetrooper as well.  Will be using that one as grunt to the DK trooper.

scored Evo's @ TJ MAXX tday @ lunch $12.99
red bwinger set & Biggs Imp pilots was my score but they had lots of Padme sets, and couple of the white suited Sullust Bwinger sets.  No Sith, Fetts, or TFU's to be seen.

TJ MAXX in LB in south CA, closer to Cypress.

try Hangerbay's stuff he's got quite a few you might be able to shrink/enlarge for what you need.

while I haven't bought too many figures, I DO really like them.  Nothing that brings back the old nostalgia like the 25th stuff did, but I like them cuz I can blend them in with my SW stuff  :D.
Got lucky and found the Baroness Paris Pursuit version along w/Duke Gauntlets, think that's Wave 4, first time I'd seen them.  Didn't realize tho that Baroness' shades are molded to her face, that the same case with the first version?

« on: September 28, 2009, 06:52 PM »
consider it seen.
TRU in Bell Gardens, Ca. 2 of them
TRU in Cerritos, Ca. 1 box crushed to hell.

passed for now, as I had Ponds stashed in Cerritos waiting for this sale hoping to get him free by buying the Lars homestead.  but now I'll just get the gunship but didn't want the crushed box.  And Bell Gardens had no Ponds.

from the back of the box art the crumb does look painted.  Also from the back of the box the big canons on the back are new.  the back part "folds" out and there are missle tubes.

Rob why'd you do that I that Kevin was dead for a second there  :P

Lucked out and was able to get 2 more, Maul & Anakin, besides the Corran & Fett I'd gotten earlier in the week.  Just missing the General to complete the trooper.  The only I've been able to justify this is cuz I haven't found anything in the store for thelast 2 waves, otherwise I'd had to have passed.  Besides the DT is too cool I loved that game and can't wait till Kyle comes out to pair him up with this.

Thought I'd throw this out there.....My Target reset yesterday and they had 4 ARCs.

Today = 0    Makes you wonder.

Ebay bait ::)

Even Hasblo should understand that these would be perfect in a battle pack or two.

I'm bettin' we'll see these guys in the Legends line eventually.  I too relly wanted the bearded version more for the fact he has the cannon.  Need some more of those.

be prepared boys these mothers are $17 a pop.  Bought 2 last night, Corran/Fett.  Leaving unopened and keeping reciepts just in case I see these clearanced.  But with my luck with Wally exclu. it's doubtful.

RS reporting seeing them as well.

$30 for an exclu is normal I'd say, but then add in that's basically all new, minus the reused partts for the stormie, and it's really a good deal we're getting.  I'll defnately get 1 fullprice maybe 2.  If score sale 3.

It kind of is too bad that he "portly" otherwise he make good custom for Xwingers lounging around without all the gear.  Kinda like Luke when he's talking to 21B b4 he leaves the med. in ESB.

I was thinking that too, a bit of a shame - would have probably gotten several of these if not for the gut... maybe Porkins as a teenage pilot.   :P

At least the arms might be useful for a gloveless version.  I think there's a promo pic of Luke from ESB of him on Dago in the flight suit in front of downed xwing without gloves on
