« on: February 17, 2017, 10:51 AM »
Funko kicked off their DC 3.75" figure license with a line of 3.75" 9POA figures for the Suicide Squad movie.

Next up on their list - Classic 1960s Batman!

Other Toy Lines / Funko 3.75" Action Figure Lines
« on: February 17, 2017, 10:40 AM »
Since Funko is now doing their own thing and no longer part of ReAction, I thought I'd add a catch-all thread for their new 3.75" efforts as we head into Toy Fair this weekend.

Game of Thrones stuff can be found over in the A Song of Ice and Fire / Game of Thrones Figures! thread, and the DC Comics lines will be Hall of Justice, but feel to discuss Funko's other lines...

Like the newly announced Twin Peaks line

The Black Series 6" Figures / Toy Fair 2017
« on: February 9, 2017, 11:19 AM »
I guess we don't have a Toy Fair thread yet...

Hasbro's Entertainment Brand Preview Event at New York Toy Fair is on Saturday, February 18th.  We've seen a few things already (Rogue One 3.75" Wave 4; Black Series 3.75" Titanium figures; Black Series 6" Centerpiece Line).  It sounds like there will be some other things to reveal there as well (Black Series 6" 40th Anniversary).

Great news for anyone that was hoping for the Unleashed line to make a come-back some day...  from io9:

"Later this year, alongside the waves of merchandise based on The Last Jedi, there’ll be even more 40th-anniversary toys. The 6-inch Black Series figures will be getting their own line of figurines called the “Centerpiece” range. If you remember the old “Star Wars Unleashed” toys from the early 2000s, they’re a lot like that: static figurines of characters in dynamic poses on special stands, made to look like recreations of key moments from films across the saga.

There’s one key difference with these new ones. though—the lavish new scenery bases will include light and sound effects to make each figurine even more of a display piece. The line will kick off with a new version of Luke in his pilot gear from Empire Strikes Back, and each figure will sell for $50."

From io9

"The 3.75-inch figurines in the new Titanium series will retail for $15 each, and are all based on A New Hope. While they’re static figurines rather than poseable action figures, each of the six —Darth Vader, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, and Han Solo—also feature accessories like FX pieces for their weapons, as well as their own special backdrops. The backdrops include two different inserts, a backdrop from the movies, and also character art that can be connected to other Titanium series figure stands to complete the full scene."

Huh.  Looks like Walmart is expanding their Black Series 3.75" line a bit:

Black Series 3.75" AT-ST Walker w/Driver found in Houston, TX.

Sounds like it's about $60 for this version.  Wonder if they bothered to fix the joints this time around...

Mystery 3.75" Protocol Droid Figure revealed at Yakface.

Hmmm...  if the rumors/theories pan out, this will be both exciting (to see new parts/droids added to the mix) and annoying (if there are first-time protocol droids to track down for big $$$).   :-\

Interesting rumor any way you look at it....
