Modern Trading / Re: Greg's Trade List

Would you consider separating the figures from the Episdoe IV Tin? Would you be willing to trade just the Leia and Sandtrooper for 2 MOC TAC Super Battle Droids? I have no need for the tin itself, Vader, or C-3P0. LMK

I've sent you three PM's in the past week. Gonna answer?

I wanted to trade soft Jedi cloaks for the TAC Death Star Trooper blasters.

OK, I feel good that I have bought the only two of the TAC Removable Helmet Stormtroopers that I have seen in my area. I still need one more. Like many other people I plan to turn 2 of them into Han & Luke, but my son still wants a removable helmet Stormtrooper, so when I find another one I will buy it. Then I will replace the crappy perpetually looking up head with a Death Star Gunner head.

Then onto everyone's big complaint, the helmet. Good To Go Customs has an awesome Stortrooper helmet. They are out of stovk right now, but eventually they'll have 'em again. So for those of you who are not happy with the helmet that came with the TAC Stormie, that is a possible solution. Or you could use the POTF2 Stormtrooper Helmets! :P

The torso is so loose he can barely stand and the helmet falls off when the figure is tipped upside down.

I've noticed the same thing with this figure.  I've only been able to snag two so far, and one of them is quite loose like you are describing.  The other one doesn't seem to be quite as bad.  I did notice the loose helmet with both of them though.  It didn't seem to be as bad when i was messing around and popped the comic pack Han/Luke heads on them, which I hope to do permanently once I get some more Stormtroopers.  I'm debating whether to pick up more of these (which I certainly would if I saw any), or to grab another Tantive pack to get a couple more.  Both seem to be good figures in their own right, and I just wanted to build up my Stormie ranks a little more with something other than the Commtech ones.

My army used to be totally Commtech Stormies. Although I love the sculpt, the lack of posability really made those extinct. If I may recommend, the Battle Pack Stormtroopers are MUCH better than the removable Helmet version.

Jesse I love your signature! That Rebel Trooper has a cartoony head, crap leg articulation, and the world's smallest blaster! Whoever sculpted that blaster should be punished! Were they over compensating for the huge POTF2 version?

A new Falcon would be just what I want! (And a new Death Star Playset too) It doesn't have to be to scale, but a little bit larger would be good. The same problems have plagued all the versions of the toy from 1977 till OTC, basically parts that fall off and the landing gears are a pain. I would like to see it retooled too be overall about 30% bigger with seating for 4 figures in the **** pit, a better gun assembly, and a belly gun. Oh and new and improve landing gears!

Hey Hasbro! / Re: Oola figure
« on: June 22, 2007, 06:21 PM »
You ever think that maybe Hasbro won't touch Oola because she's scantly clad and they are producing what are supposed to be children's toys? I realize slave Leia was scantly clad too, but you couldn't see through what she was wearing in the movie like you can with Oola. (HOT!!!) They're probably afraid a of a parental backlash.

Hey Hasbro! / Re: Need more clones (not kidding)

we need alot more clones! ;D

 >:( I am so sick of Clones! They are friggin' everywhere! I can't find a single Death Star Trooper in my area and they were in more of the movies than the stupid clones!

Hey Hasbro! / Re: PLEASE DON'T REPACK: Worst Ideas For Repacks
« on: June 22, 2007, 06:09 PM »
I have to say the VTSC Endor Han. This figure was so over articulted that he looked awful, and he was sickly skinny. He looked anorexic. The ball joint head made him look like he had been hanging from a noose (all human ball jointed head figures look stretch-necked. I hate 'em!) He was WAY over articulated and some of the articulation was in the weirdest places. Why in the middle of his chest? Shouldn't it had been at the natural line of his waist? Isn't that an obvious choice? C'mon Hasbro! Plus the ankle hinge made his boots look womanly.

Count me in for this battle pack as well!

The other day I was thinking of an Imperial Forces Battle Pack with:
2 x Stormtrooper
2 x Death Star Trooper
1 x Commander

Talk about an army builders dream! That would sell like crazy. I'd buy 2 or 3 immediately, for one because I can't find a Death Star Trooper in my area!

I have 8 total:

7 from the Capture of Tantive IV Battle Pack
1 of the removable helmet type. I bought it today. After I opened it I noticed that the right leg is about 1/8 inch longer than the left! I apologize for the crappy picture. My camera sucks.
