The Wookiee Arcade / Re: Which one's the best?
« on: November 1, 2005, 06:17 AM »
been thinking about this for a while lately, i think best has gotto be dark forces. it was amazing to play at the time, great level design and very authentic.

after that i would say battlefront, simply because its so much fun to play, very authentic and one of the few games(along with the gta series) that you play just for the hell of it, without progressing/unlocking anything.

I did like jedi starfighter, but a little too eu. in some levels its just not star wars at all.

Loved the old x-wing and particulary tie fighter games on pc. Back in the day when lucas games where the best around.

Anyway just my thoughts, and hello all been awhile.

cheers barfly

1:6 Scale Figures and Collectibles / chewie
« on: June 18, 2003, 04:22 PM »
does anyone have any clue how i can make hard body chewie hold his bowcaster in a pose/the way the blooming thing is designed to hold it, because i cant figure it out. please help!

i think thats what i will do, ask them how they will send. I really dont know how they think they can get away with it, maybe its when they see newbies low feedback rating, they think they can take advantage. in defense of the first guy, he has offered a refund and doesnt want the figure back, the other guy however has sent a slightly sarcastic email i think all in capitals(that is universal for shouting isnt it?) with out saying sorry once, well see what happens with him :-[

does this kind of thing happen often? or am i being over sensitive?

well after the initial excitment of joining ebay and winning a few things, it has now all turned sour as i have recieved some of the packages. the first one i got was in a box that i can imagine a monkey having more sence to send, thus hugely damaging the card and bubble, however that seller has offered a full refund. Then yesterday i get my hoth chewie, the very wise and not a complete idiot at all seller had but it in a padded envelop, so of course it was crushed to death, now both of these traders have excellent feedback and a proven record for star wars items, WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?!!!, its a mistake a new seller could have made but not some one with 500+ positive feedback, now this puts me in a hard position as i have a rating of two and cant afford to place negative comments about somebody, because they will retaliate and people arent going to belive me over them. i know this sounds petty but i cant understand the stupidity of these folk. what do you think?

(i did however get chewie and leia trash compactor from R2Dtoys today and that was in fantastic shape ;D so its not all bad)
