Revenge of the Sith / Re: Battle Packs (5 figure sets)

Definately getting the Temple Raid set, not so sure about the other two. I'm guessing these will be expensive.

Site Feedback, Suggestions, and Help / Photonovel of the Month?
« on: July 11, 2005, 01:39 AM »
So I was looking at some old photonovels today and realized that the stuff in there isn't quite getting the recognition it deserves. Everything seems to have a cult following, I think they can do better!

So how about if we have a contest each month (or something like every other week)? People can vote on which photonovel they like best, and the winner could be showcased on the main page. I think this could generate some interest from fans who don't visit the photonovel/custom section.

Of course, this is just my idea, if the staff hates it, that's fine.

Wow, my local KB had like 5 ROTS figs (all Bail) along with about 20 VOTC Landos, still at full price ($13).

So Kebco is giving you trouble? I've heard a lot of bad things about them. I've never dealt with them, but I know there are people on here who have, and can probably help you out.

Original Trilogy Collection / Re: Star Tours Wave 4

Are these out now? That packaging is really nice.

I've never bothered with Star Tours either, only purchased the 3 Astromechs and Captain Rex at DisneyWorld.

But damn... I love that packaging. Makes me want to buy them. :-\

Sweet, movie accurate Clones! I just wish they were all using the SA body, but the QD Clone is pretty good. Plus, anything is better than nothing I suppose.

Revenge of the Sith / Re: ROTS Figure Sales (or price hikes)!

I don't think the prices here have ever changed. They've always stayed at $5.24.

Any thought on Fantastic Four? I've been hearing mixed reviews so far. Some people on other forums I visit have enjoyed it, others have trashed it. Nobody thinks it's better than Batman though.

I'm still looking for time to go see both of them (B:B and F4).

It will be interesting to see how well Texas' offense will do without Cedric benson, but I have faith that Vince Young will continue his awesomeness. There's also a great new QB who has been with us a few seasons who showed some skill during a Spring practice game I went to, Matt McCoy. Big D (defense) will continue to knock the crap out of the other team's offense. :)

This season looks to be about the same as the past several seasons, with close games against rivals and blowouts against lesser teams. The only possible loss will come in October to the toothless hicks known as the Sooners.

Hook 'em Horns!

Also, the NCAA 2006 video game comes out Tuesday. I'll have to look into getting that.

LEGO / Re: Target Exclusive RotS Ultimate Space Battle

I'll wait for this set to be discounted. I already have all of those sets. And I don't want to pay however much the set will cost (I'm guessing $50) for an Obi-Wan starfighter. :-\

More rereleases. Argh. >:(

At least it sounds like a cheap year. Looking forward to pics.

Cool, cool, cool! I love how you incorporate items from the video game, comic, and mix them your own ideas. Please, keep it coming!

Newman - Thanks a lot! Don't worry, your death has not been decided yet. Hey, who says you have to die at all? ;)

CHEWIE - Thanks! SW legos are great, but also addictive. Once you buy one, you can't stop! Pretty pricey as well (on certain sets). I'm glad you like it! And thanks for the praise!

Also, I noticed a small error on the last bit of dialogue. Guess that's what I get for creating a scene, then modding the scene that came before it! :P

That's amazing! I love the air tubes connecting on the helmet, wow! I don't think I can keep describing how cool it is!
