Hasbro recently told Rebelscum that this scenario is the only way we would get such tertiary background characters as the above Faytonni and Ak-Med Beq. While this isn't the greatest sign in the line's health IMO there are some instances where I would perfectly fine with them doing it...
Rebel Pilots (New Heads with Deco'd Helmets)
Ewoks (Two different size bodies with different cowels and paint apps)
Astromechs
Protocal Droids
Imperial Officers
Etc etc...
What do you think of this trend?
I was fine with figures like R2-Q5 and K-3PO which were straight repaints. If this is what it takes to get some of the background of the background, I'm all for it!

After two to three weeks of list taking I'll publish the results and we will move on to the next movie. This time around it is the latest movie in the saga SW:AOTC, or Episode II. They look nice Brad. I have a ton of Astromech customs that I should take some shots of. Getting thos details though can be a bugger. I find if I paint the arms and crevices first and then do a paint over of the body it works the best.

I've been playing a ton of Tiger Woods 2003 for ye olde PS2 lately. I love this game and the courses and game play is amazing. I am more of a Sports guy when it comes to gaming (especially Madden) I've been jonesin to pick up the TTT game though. It looks sweet.
I also got a Logitech wireless controller last week which is nice but not as nice as the Sony wired models...
