Its the start of the Canadian long weekend. Victoria Day we call it. Its also my mothers Birthday on Monday. 77 years old.

So I guess I'll have a nice glass of Cognac. Whatever is in stock.

I'm down at the University of Illinois right now visiting my cousin (got the wife with me too).  My cousin is graduating tomorrow, and we're going bar-hopping tonight.  I haven't done that since the college days (been since 1996), so I'm in for a real treat.  If I don't make it back alive you've all been great!    :P

Looks like tonight the Mom and I will be going to Friday's (a place that I used to incessantly tease people for frequenting until I went myself and tried their drinks). I will no doubt have several Junebugs (one of my favorite things on the planet).

Well, we didn't go to Friday's (or as Virex referred to it, Chotchkie's- an Office Space reference), we opted for the Cheesecake Factory instead, which was a wise decision. The drinks and food were amazing. Just amazing. The Junebug at Friday's has Midori melon liqueur, pineapple juice, and I'm not sure what else, but it's damn good.

Scott, you just go ahead and keep grabbing at straws for things to tease me about.   :-*

The drinks at the Cheescake Factory are VERY good!  But it's still a little too early here in New Jersey for a little drinky-drinky.  And I've still got work to do.

Right now, I would normally opt for coffee.  But since I gave up caffeine, that's kind of pointless.  Think I might get a refreshing lemonade right now.

Well the Memorial day weekend is almost upon us so open up the saloon doors.   Anyone got any special plans?


 Me I am just going to relax have a cook out on Saturday and do a little memorial thing monday at a local tomb of the unknown soldier. Other than that its relaxation.. I told Sue no job lists this weekend ;)
