Monthly Customizing Challenge - Previous Months

That's ok, it doesn't have to be sexy.  Whatever you come up with will be cool.

Ok folks... my submission is done.  It's a freaky-naughty Twilek dancer.





Since I can't sculpt, I felt pretty limited... I couldn't find a Star Wars female body that didn't look too recognizable, and I saw a Final Fantasy female figure at a Sam Goody music store, and thought it might work. 

Then I had to find a head that I wanted to use, and decide what species she should be.  At first I was jumbling through several Leia and Padme heads, and then the red Aay Vida Twilek head. 

So, I decided to decapitate an extra ROTS Aayla Secura figure and see what that head looked like on it.  I liked the look, and decided to give it a shot.  I repainted the entire figure, and glued on the new head, then painted it to match the blue skin tone that I came up with. 

Then, I did a dry brush to bring out some details in her outfit (which is staying on, Han and Lando).  That's it - hope to see what you guys come up with - deadline is the end of May.

The reason I posted it now was to give you guys a good reminder about the deadline (plus I finished it about 10 minutes before posting it and was excited).

I started work on my Togruta (Shaak Ti's species) dancing chick tonight. BEfore I start painting her skin does anyone know if there is any togruta skin refrence shots out there? I know what the head looks like,but I have no idea on the body, Shaak's hands are the same color (red) as her face si I'm assuming trhe body is the same but I'm not sure, I'll probably just paint her however I feel like though.

At first it was just cool when I saw it. But then I scrolled down and really saw it.
I got a pretty damn good laugh at of the boozin Lando and Han.

If you hadn't told us parts were used on that I would have assumed you sculpted it, because I had no idea what it was. real cool stuff Justin.

My dancer is almost done, she isn't too complicated but I think she looks ok so far, your's is much better though. So Can we just post these when ever or are we suposed to hold off until the end of the week?
