...and this is what our schools are teaching our children.  :-\
Actually, I've got to disagree with the Perennials assement. I too am fifteen and I've got to say the majority of kids being churned out of school can't spell worth a lick and for the most part are apathetic (or in some cases, spiteful) towards grammar. It might just be due to the fact that I happen to be from the worst educational system in the US ( ::)), but the fact remains.

Anywho, I'm down with the Blue Harvest idea. Terrorists then Confederates so close together seems a tad redundant.

Ok, let's sum up what we've done so far -

Month 1 - Fan Fic Star Wars Hotties
Month 2 - Fan Fic Smugglers
Month 3 - Fan Fic Sith Lords
Month 4 - Fan Fic Droids
Month 5 - Fan Fic Terrorists/Bounty Hunters

Then, for future months -

Month 6 - Fan Fic Blue Harvest
Month 7 - Fan Fic Confederate Organic Troops

What about after that?  I've got an idea...

Fan Fic Lando's Ladies!

Hey! I love your jedi slicer, Phruby. Unfortunately, I might not be able to do any customs since school started. But hopefully I can work on them during the weekends. (I like the idea of Lando's ladies and fem-troopers) :P

Smarty, I think we all understand that at school when a grade counts, you want to present yourself better in terms of grammar, spelling, etc.   ;D

Around here, we just like to make it respectable and mature (but we do like to act like idiots sometimes too)... the members here do care about this site, and like to present our work to each other and critique and give each other comments/feedback in a more serious manner than some other sites.

So that's all that I'm saying... nobody is going to jump down anyone's throat when there is a typo or anything like that, but when someone is lazy all the time, doesn't want to make their posts legible, then how can they expect to be taken seriously?

Anyways, I want to see some more of your customs.  You're much better at this than I could have been at your age.   ;)

Here is a work in progress picture of my terrorist. I had to make him a little taller because he looked funny with long arms and short legs. Thanks go out to Sith Lord Chaos for the parts!  8)

I need to know what accessories I should give this guy. Shall I give him a briefcase full of Anthrax? Maybe a belt of gernades? Starship tickets? (sorry bad reference) No weapons at all?

Please pardon my blasphemous ignorance and laziness (too lazy to look it up) --  But what the nuts is Blue Harvest?  It sounds like a brand name for cheese.   :P

I've got three bounty hunters done now. I think I'll donate one of them for the Hurricane katrina relief thing we're doing for e-bay.

Blue Harvest was the set name ROTJ when it was being shot here in America. It was used to throw off the press so that they could shoot in peace.

I think my terrorist is going to be similar to Phruby's I also had plans to make a Trando Terrorist. I need to find a way to make his head look different than Bossk thought, any suggestions? :)

We just discussed it in this thread earlier today, but Blue Harvest - Horror Beyond Imagination was the original name that was given to Return of the Jedi back when it was in production in 1981-1982 (just a false name to try and keep secrets about the movie kept secret from the press).

So, we're thinking about making Halloween customs in honor of Blue Harvest, you know, making "scary" figures - or just anything you want with a Halloween theme.

Phruby, that's an excellent start to your figure.  Excellent use of parts, especially the Dresselian legs.

Whoops, looks like SLC beat me to the punch on the Blue Harvest thing.   :)

SLC, for a head, I would suggest maybe the Bust Up head?

I have a little surprise for the head. It's one of Ryan Shaw's (bantha5) custom Bossk head. He even painted it for me. I just hope the rest of the figure will not seem out of place.

Hey Ryan, what is the quote from on your signature?
