When will the ROTS clearances start?

My experience has been that TRU is strict on when you return...  Target, I just haven't returned much to them but I did return a rather old 500th Vader I did as an "exchange"  to get a mint item...  I didn't get hastled returning the figure though.

Wal-Mart I've found I can return stuff any time and so long as I have a receipt I'm gold...  If you don't have a receipt you get store credit which is fine by me even, but it was always full credit.  I tend not to be too late returning stuff though so I dunno.

Ive gotten the ol "you can't return collectibles" line at TRU with a reciept. Of course it came down to getting a manager and even that was a pain.  Target and Walmart I have had no problem with returning anything.

I founda  Meena Tills the other day at a Walmart for one dollar!  The package was torn to hell, but who cares.  I was going to open it anyway for custom parts.

The ONLY ROTS stuff I have yet to see on clearance are a couple #12 Emperor Palpatines for $3 each. I feel left out.

Walked into Target last night with the family, and while the wife was buying these classic bookend games (Yahtzee and Monopoly) I found a Clone Attack Coruscant and picked it up. I got to the register and it didn't ring up so the clerk called the manager over and asked where I found it. I told her and she said do you have any idea of how much they cost? I said I thought on clearance they were between $9 and $12. She looked at me, looked at the clerk, and said $5.98. So I go my second Clone Attack on Coruscant for $5.98! I was shocked! I was expecting abotu $9.98 or so but five clones for $5.98! I'm still giddy!

Not bad at all for army builders.

I wish I'd have found good deals but alas not a lot was left in Pittsburgh.  However a local is saying one WM in a seedier part of town has Separation of the Twins figures for $3 each...  Nice, however too far for me to get there and find out, heh.

I found Jedi Fighters for a good price so I should be happy, I just didn't find the big things I REALLY wanted like a Target TIE, the Battlepack that had Assajj/Anakin in it (forget the name) so I could get some fodder out of the set, or the Coruscant Clone set...  Nor did I find any Target exclusives like the Shadow Trooper.  Our area was pretty dry on those again clearance time came.  ONly a few had anything and most were deeper in the city where I usually am not able to get to (not without a LOT of hastle).

I squeezed out a last clearance item too. ROTS is no longer in the system, but they looked up the last prices. The deluxe vader on a table for $2 and something. I just like a sale.

I may have missed out on a lot of clearance figs I really wanted (Mas Amedda, Ki Adi Mundi, etc.) but tonight I scored the clearance coup de grace at WM:

I picked up a ROTS #3 Yoda for 65 cents at Target this morning, didn't need it, but for 65 cents I couldn't pass it up.

Found Tarkin and Spider Droids on the cheap today.  $3 each, nice!
