I bought 1. If I find them on clearance cheap enough i'll get a coupla more.

The pods are a bit small and you'd need a boatload of them for a decent Diorama. :-\

I need to get a Bowl Chuck for my Lathe and turn my own.  ;)

I got one of these tonight as well, and I enjoy it very much. I was never fond of that Yoda and passed on it, but it's actually a decent figure. The Shocktroopers own, as expected, and the Senate Pod owns all! I thought it would be smaller than it actually is.

And I assume your lack of mentioning the Palps figure means that it is crap?

Well I bought it last year, and it's decent for what it is... but still pretty crappy. :P

That figure should never be referred to in a post that also includes the word 'decent'

I think that is the best PT Yoda I've ever seen.

I think if that Yoda had a softgoods robe made of the same material as the new Obi-Wan robe, it would be 100% better. Its not a bad Yoda at all.

I'm surprised to see these sitting in my area, too. There has been a dozen sitting on the bottom shelf for the last week. I'd have figured that they'd move great, even if army builders shyed away because of the price. Even if that Yoda isn't the greatest, he's still Yoda, and he's fighting the Emperor. That's a pretty appealing package for kids or parents to recognize.

I haven't been too interested in buying additional packs because I think the paint details on the clones are a bit dodgy, and the plastic used has a dull sheen to it that doesn't match the individual SA plain or Utapau flavors. They feel a little cheap, IMO.

Again, it's very difficult to lay down $20+ for two shock troopers and one senate pod.  Essentially, that's how I look at it being that nobody wants the extra Yodas and Palpy's.

The way I see it, it's what we're paying for for two Scout Troopers. :P

Just think about it like you're purchasing 3 figs at retail. After tax each fig comes to about $7 so that's $21. Right around the same for the Pod and 2 Shocks. ;D

I just opened my set. I like the Senate Pod as a pack in. It's the closest thing we've had to a playset since the Mustafar volcano, and a lot cheaper. The troopers are pretty nice, and yoda and sidious aren't all bad. Since this is a pretty pivotal duel, I'm glad they made it a battle pack. Too bad the final Grievous (who I refuse to pay more than 8.00 for) couldn't have found his way into a pack like this with battle damage Obi, Utapau clone, and battle droid.

These are really widely available in my neck fo the woods, which I'm thankful for since I should be able to get a set next pay as an extra (or two).  I'm glad people want the pods. :)
