Hey Cody! Here's the link...but hopefully he'll take me up on my invite and post them over here soon...

Chewie- Thanks for the kind words. I do think I want to do more "background" kind of customs; part of what made the OT so cool was the feeling that there were really people just going about their lives in the background. Still. I'm surprised everyone likes the Mon Cal so much; to me he just seemed really simple and kind of a lazy custom, design-wise. I've been in a bit of a creative slump of late, and although I like him, I was just kind of mixing and matching pieces to see what I could come up with. I'm glad he's gotten such a good response!

Utapua Clone - I bet Dr. Padawan's going to be very please with this.

Just wanted to post and (publically) concur with CHEWIE: DoctorPadawan is VERY pleased with the Utapau Clone.  DD's been extremely nice and friendly and has gone above and beyond with me during this whole process, and I couldn't be happier.  So, publically, thanks DD! :)

(now I just have to keep myself from asking for more Clone repaints)  :)

Hey, Doctor P! Glad you like it! Here's the other clone you commissioned:

You asked for him clean...but I'm dying to weather him. Good thing I'm sending it back to you this week or I might give in to the temptation.  ;D

And please, feel free to commission as many clones as you wish.  ;)

I'm glad you two now have a "relationship."   ;)

That other clone looks great too.  I wish I had the patience for painting clones, I just don't have what it takes.   ;)

Well, Doctor Padawan let me weather him, so here's the completed pic.

I just threw him on the forest background for fun...much more interesting than my kitchen counter.  ;D

That looks outstanding DD.  I only wish that I could take such clear pics (and paint that good).

Tell you what, Chewie...you loan me your drybrushing skills and creativity,  and I'll loan you my ability to paint a straight line.  ;)

Well, aside from the Sith Lords and Mercenaries I've been trying to complete this weekend, I finally finished another project I've been working on this week...Saesee Tinn's Jedi Starfighter.

I think it came out pretty well. Masking it was a time consuming pain, and there's a few places I had to clean up because it bled a bit, but otherwise it was fun to do. I used a Metallic Flake Jade Green on it, and with the weathering, it looks really nice next to some of Hasbro's starfighters.

Oh, and to keep my legal department happy: "Toy shown in fantasy situation. Toy does not actually fly, and may require hand support."   ;D

Wow! That turned out fantastic DD!! The metalic green was a great choice of color. The weathering is excellent, it looks random but natural. You got any plans to do Mace's? :)

I really like that color. It's very crisp. I also like the flaking off in certain areas. It looks like in the proper places and directions for a head on fight. The hard part looked like painting around the cockpit. Did you take the ship apart to paint it or just mask everything on one piece?

:o Wow, that's damned cool. The metal green flake paint really makes this ship. I plan on doing a Jedi Starfighter into a "Stealt" starfighter. :)

SLC- I actually do plan on doing Mace's ship at some point, and one for Ki Adi Mundi. Any after that will depend solely on whether these things ever go clearance anywhere.  ;D

Master Phruby- Thanks for commenting, I appreciate the feedback. I took the cockpit off to paint the ship, but was forced to mask it as one piece as I couldn't figure out how to get the wing panels apart without breaking it.

Dressel: Your Stealth fighter sounds cool...what plans to you have for it? Just paint job, or are we talking design changes as well?

I wish the ships would go on clearance. That one looks like a fun project to test out my airbrush on.
