Wow, what's the point?  It prints a #...  Or at least all the McD's and BK's I've ever been in do, so why ask for a name ya know?  Seems like a really unnecessary step to me. 

I still question the reality of the image regardless though.  It's the internet.  Like the fake tip receipts that make it onto Twitter and stuff...  It would be easy to fake it for attention.

If it were real, I'd just as likely say the fast food worker did it intentionally, making fun of the person saying, "Stephen, with a ph" to them.  It's not like it was a credit application, ya know?  I know my first reaction would be, "You're a moron, with an 'oron'", but maybe that's just my reaction, haha.

Well sure, but you order meals by combo number and not what they're called, so I'm not expecting to be treated as anything other than an assembly line.
