It's dated April 1st - Sounds like an April Fool's joke that no one bothered to take down.  I'd think that if the DHS really found something illegal there, they wouldn't bother explaining themsevles or mentioning secret messages.

Then again, if it is a joke - it's not in very good taste.

It was an AF joke. I can tell you it was not my doing. I myself only became aware of the alteration a couple of days ago.

I hadn't saved the most recent edit of our real front page, so I'm waiting for the staff member in question to put it back up. In the meantime, I just pulled the post and loaded a different placeholder. The fact that I didn't do that before today was my fault.

Sorry about this. :(
