How many VTSC Biker Scouts are in your army?

I picked up two more to round out at a dozen.  I plan to be done there but if they're still around a few months from now or show up in subsequent case assortments down the road, I might pick up more.

My first five arrived today. 

Now I can settle back and wait for these to arrive in Canada without worrying about finding too many.  If Newforce can come through with my case I'll have nothing at all to worry about and can totally relax on this set. 

Newforce did indeed come through for me so I'm up to seven now.  I'll definitely pick up another at Canadian retail as the Lucas offer is valid up here as well   It would be nice if Walmart had them, but TRU will carry them and possibly Zellers.  But now it's a totally relaxed scenario.  If I see some, great, I'll grab them.  If not, I'm in no way hurting by missing out.

I prefer a 3-4 man team myself, unless we are talking about snipers in which case two is far better. And since the Scout on Battlefront was a sniper, two isn't bad.

Pardon my ignorance, but what are "normal" sizes for squads, platoons, etc. within this particular universe?

A team is usually somewhere between 2 and 4
A squad is between 8 and 12 (can also be 3 to 4 teams)
A platoon is usually between 3 and 4 squads
A company is 3 to 4 platoons
A battalion is 3 to 4 companies
A regiment is 2 or more battalions
A division is several regiments
A corps is several divisions

in ROTJ we see Scouts working in 2-man teams in a number of instances so that's my reasoning for that with the Scout, Brent...  They were always in groups of 2 on Endor save for the 4-man group at the bunker.

Ryan gave a good synopsis of "teams" and such though...

In STar Wars though, there's possible room for play there too...  The term "Legion" comes up of course as a large grouping of soldiers...  There's some info on this stuff, mostly formed in minis/RPG gaming I'd say.  Any size grouping could vary by the types of soldiers and things...

In Republic Commando a team is 4 men...  Each a specialist in a specific field save for the Commander who is sort of the all around expert.  They each can act as effectively independantly though as they can as a team really.  That's one example of how SW hashes out soldier groupings though, at least in the EU...

In the films the only positive I can think of is the Scouts off-hand...  Stormtroopers aboard the Tantive IV seemed to be fanning out in teams of 3 IIRC, as that's the # that stumbled upon Leia and lost a man to her shot...  I know there's clusters of troops marching together throughout ANH but I can't recall sizes offhand.   My nerdyness only goes so far I guess.

The carded one I picked up at target on a recent shopping trip  to portland (haven't seen them in canada....yet) and the 3 loose ones came from the ebay seller from shanghai that some of you have used in this thread.

Thanks Ryan and Jesse for the answers.  As I look at all the boxes of crap I have, I wonder about downsizing some of the army builders I have (not saying I'll do it, but I do wonder) but a squad seems to be around the right size to justify keeping much of what I have. 

I did pick up a couple more Biker Scouts yesterday locally as they finally showed up at TRU.  $14.99 CAD up here. I'll keep one carded for sure though as they have mimicked the vintage Canadian card front.

For what its worth, I have five.  I've been on such a spending spree its just killing my wallet.  I've passed over these in the stores numerous times in the last few weeks.

I've been seeing them too.  I saw 3 last night actually...  I wouldn't say they're everywhere, but they're not rare that's for certain...

Not to mention that, if you want many, they're still online for basically retail + shipping...  The shipping is fair and if you buy in bulk you really come out on top with this thing. 

I have 20 out, I have 8 on the way, I may buy 2 more for an even 30 man platoon to scout for my sizeable Stormtrooper army... 

Out of the VTSC I see hardly any Scouts and LUkes...  I see Sandpeople somewhat, but still not every store has him.  I see loads of Han and Greedo.  Get ready for clearance time on them, and that's good fodder.
