Anyone know an eta on the ROTS set?

Should be very soon - the last I heard it was planned for October (and the Hoth series for December).  I was going to check the Gentle Giant site for an update, but it seems to be down right now.

Attack of the (Revenge of the Sith) Clones!



Despite the picture saying that they are 4-Packs, it sounds like these will be distributed in 3-packs very similar to last year's Stormtrooper packs at StarWarsShop.com

We should know the whole story in a few days I'd guess...

Yowza, I'm seriously giddy with anticipation about this set!  I've really grown to love the Bust-Ups, and this is great news.  The next couple of months will be very busy for this line, with the ROTS and Hoth series coming very soon!

These look pretty good, but it would have been nice if GG had taken the time to create four different poses.

Hmmm, I think I may have to buy a bunch of extras and make some Clone Trooper custom figures. They look really nice. And you can make 4 different poses with them Jesse, it's just that 2 of those four will look really, really stupid

****, they're window boxing these things now?!  That usually makes me want to keep a packaged version, but dammit, I refuse to start collecting packaged with this line as well! 

So are these actually exclusive to StarWarsShop.com, or are they just the first to get them?  If it's their exclusive, I'll go ahead and nab it, but if it's gonna be a regular release, then I may wait to get a cheaper set or two on eBay.

EDIT:  Looks like they're not exclusive, since I see they're available over at EE too.  Cool.

So are you guys getting a couple sets, so you can have both poses for each one?  I'm inclined to do that myself, unfortunately...  But at least it's something.  Seems like forever since there's been a new wave of these things...

It looks like SWS.com got their hands on an exclusive version of the Clone Trooper 4-Pack - a Battle Damaged version!  It's currently only available to Hyperspace members until October 25th, then it's up for everyone.

Why do I get the feeling some packs will have a suprise Clone like the black one in the Stormtrooper packs?

Here I am trying to scale down a bit on my spending, and these come out.  I really like the Bust-Ups and don't think I can pass on this line.  But since each set comes with multiple arms, I'd like 2 regular sets and 2 battle-damaged sets to display them in their varied poses.  Thankfully, I don't feel the need to have a boxed set as well.

Well, I think I'm going to take the collecting high road here, and just use this "Battle Damaged" set as my second set with the alternate arm poses.  No way I'm buying 4 sets of these.  One of each it is...
