Sexiest Custom Figure ever Gardulla the Hutt - WIP Updated 6/2

I started working on the Sexiest Star Wars custom figure ever last night.  Unforutantely, you are going to have to wait to see the WIP pictures because I didn't get a chance to take any.  But trust me, this one lives up to the hype. 

I'm going to try to get photos up later today if possible.

Gardulla the Hutt (at least my WIP)



Okay, sorry for that really bad joke... however, I do need your help. 

I want to do a complete repaint on this figure but what color scheme do you think I should use?  Keep in mind that I'm colorblind and greens and browns are hard for me.  Are the Hutts different shades of brown, brown with green, or shades of green?

Anything else you can suggest to set Miss Gardulla apart from Jabba?

  Of course a giant slug worm chick how could i have ever not have guessed and brent they are all those things, they have tons of shades, In wookiepedia the starwas wiki they have tons of pics they are all diff colors

Tee hee!  Great way to get our attention, Brent! 

As far as colors go... I would say that most Hutts are closer to green in back, fading to a light yellowish tan in front.  Gardulla's front definitely seems to be a lighter yellowish tan than Jabbas.  Some other distinguishing characteristics: she's got a sort of "widow's peak" of the green between her eyes, her nostrils seem to be bigger than Jabba's, and her eyes seem to be more of a golden yellow in color, while Jabba's are more orange. 

Gosh, that's a lot of colors, I know!  Hope that helps -- and best of luck with this foxy lady!

DAMN!!!!  I was hoping for a custom of Bianca Beauchamp.   

Looks good so far Brent.  I'd suggest priming the entire thing in brown a few times, then detailing yellow and green over that.  Then, I'd probably go with a very light dry brush of different shades.  Finally, a nice black wash (light on the paint here) and seal with matte acrylic sealer spray.

I think Gardulla has a much different sculpt to her face.  More of a scrunched up, I'm takin a pinch, look.

Thanks for the tips everyone.  I'm definitely going to add some more greenstuff to the face area to try and create some extra chins.  I think I need to make the head a little pointier too.  I'll keep this thread up to date with my WIP.
