Right, we know that.  But things have been known to either change or be incorrect.  The report on RS is NOT an official announcement therefore I take it with a grain of salt.

You must admit, a commemorative tin with four figures and fancy packaging sounds too good to be true at $25 retail.

Maybe it's supposed to be $25 cost and a $49.99 retail?

I know that it could change or be incorrect, but how accurate has Rebel Scum's rumor list been this year? Almost their entire rumor list has been confirmed.

Time will tell who's right.  I hope it's true.

I think Ruiner's point is that, till someone says otherwise from Hasbro directly, everything's a rumor...  That's the rule of thumb among every site out there.  RS's rumor seems to be valid with the photo of the tin's and we coroborated the story further today when we broke the DPCI #'s from our sources too...  So I think it is true myself.

It says in the article that there will be four figures in a tin. Please, read it before you complain.

Even when you add in a smilie, some people still miss sarcasm ::)

There's even a part of me that thinks it'll only be two figures per tin, not four, I don't care what the press release says :P

I was not trying to lecture and I was not referring to you specifically, either.

I like the tins.  Figures better be something special like SA or something

I hope they can give us at least one new figure in each set. That would be good enough for me.

I hope for the opposite evenflow, because I'd HATE to have buy a $25 set like that just for one new figure...  >:(

IF they're just the VTSC I'm gonna pass but really wish I'd known about these to plan ahead and get a set...  I can't justify $25 though just for the tins and I don't really need the figures now.  Hmmm

Maybe they'll be clearance fodder at some point...  One can hope.

These sets have now shown up in the TRU system in the US and Europe... so they won't be just Target exclusives (good news for international collectors).

The downside is... TRU is charging $29.99.

GH seems to be telling us what's in some of the tin sets.  Sounds interesting, but I'm gonna have to see which figures they used before I know whether I like them or not.

They sound kind of boring to me minus the ANH set.  I only have one cantina band member so this might be a good set to open.  But I don't know why they didn't pick figures that appeal to a wider audience - how many casual collectors are going to fork over $30 for five of the same figure?

I think I'll stick to the OT sets - the PT sets sound pretty lame.

Yeah, so far these don't sound like anything outstanding.  I'll be curious to see what is included in the other two OT sets.  I'll pick up the ANH set, because I don't have any Cantina Band members, and have kind of been hoping they would be resculpted/re-released before I went on ebay.  We'll see what the rest look like.

I guess we'll be seeing them soon enough. The ANH set sounds interesting though.
