30th Anniversary Tin Collector Sets

The Cantina Tin haven't even broke down our way yet.

Has anyone notice a lack of shelf space for these at both WM and Target? When they were put out at WM, they had no home any were put anywhere and at Target, after the shuttle reset, their shelf space dissapeared. SW product overload?

They sent them all to Canada   Seriously, the only tin sets our Walmarts have is the Cantina set.

TRU has had the prequel sets, but not the OT sets.

I got the Walmart tin today, a little expensive, but thats the way it goes.

No, not at all Jon, at least the Cantina sets.  They're $29.99 just like they are for you folks.  We have higher taxes, but that's offset by the exchange rate so it's pretty much bang on US retail.  The PT tins are at $39.99 though because they are at TRU versus the Cantina tin at Wally.  That said, I'm not personally buying them because at the $40 rate ($45 after taxes) for six tins, I'm looking at $240+ for six new figures, some kit bashes and some soft goods on figures I already own.  Not my cup of tea.

Drop me a pm if you want some help with them, I just sent three to Minnesota.  I'm out of town until Christmas, but I'd be happy to lend a hand once I return.

Thanks for the info Brent..but I'm into them either for the reasons you mentioned...I bought the exlusive at WM and that's all I'm going to get. There's so many of them here where I am at both Target and WM that getting them isn't the issue it's the other reasons for cost, and what you get for said costs= it isn't worth my dollars.

For me, the tins were hard to find and TRU has them for $29.99.  Luckily, I waited.  Went to a target and found them for $23 and change.  I was able to pick up all the OT tins.

My Targets have gobs and gobs of these.  I cannot bring myself to buy them though.

the only one i really want is episode 2 when i look back at it..and maybe a new hope just cause im missing some of those figures. all the other ones seem to be a waste of money.

I have passed on the tins but for the Ep2 with the Blue Clone and Jango..I have not had time to stop by WM ( not one my favs to vist during the holidays)  So is the Ep2 a hard one to find or something?  The only reason I picked it up was because  I did not want one of the local scalper dudes to gethis greesey hands on it...so I bought it and pissed him off.

We have lots of Tins in Ohio,but a few newer selections have been popping up lately

I've yet to see any OT tins yet, but I have changed my mind on some of these. I'll pick up the AOTC and ANH tins, along with the Cantina Band set, which I have yet to see as well.

I had thought that the Cantina Tins were $29.99, but was pleasantly surprised to find them for $26.78. Incidentally, the other tins were the same price at WM.
