30AC "Battle of Geonosis" Battle Pack

Okay, from the looks of this it includes:

-ROTS Aayla Secura (or the "Mace Windu, Here I Come!" version)
-Clone Wars Obi-Wan (for whatever reason)
-Saga 2002 Final Battle Jango Fett (which was just rereleased late last year in that Jedi vs. Separatists Battle Pack that sold miserably)
-Saga 2003 Geonosian Escape Darth Tyranus (this one is my big "WTF?" moment; you have the Evolutions mold which is as close to perfect for this character as we will ever get, Hasbro, so quit using action feature-laden crap!)
-ROTS/Saga 2002 Super Battle Droid (nonarticulated bendy crap out at the same time as an SA version?)

Oh well, I guess it's better than putting out three pegwarmers/figures we already have along with one new/repainted/interesting figure and charging 25 bucks for it.  We have those commemorative tins for that.

Wow. These just seem like some very strange, random choices to me. It's almost like a "What Hasbro will give us" joke. And why the heck are they using CW Obi-Wan?

I'll be getting this, just because I'm obsessed with the Clone Wars/Battle of Geonosis. I also don't have the Dooku or Jango, and I can always use another SBD. I think the Aayla in this pack might mean that the Battle of Felucia set will have Bly and four troopers.(Or something like that.)

Or Bly, 3 troopers, and a Gelagrub. It does seem strange to me that they would put Aayla in this pack instead of some other Jedi if she's also in the Felucia one. I just can't see them doing 2 BPs with her in them so close together when she was such a random choice for this one anyway. I doubt they would do a squad of Clones with no one to fight, though, and I don't know who Hasbro would put in besides Aayla.

Well, there were the Clone Attack on Coruscant and Hunt for Grievous battle packs, which were nothing but clones.

Crap , that what this Battle Pack should be called.  the only decent fig in this is Aayla Secura, but a Felucia pack is coming, so what they are throwing in the 2003 Saga Version (its crap compared to the ROTS Version) in that one, DUMB.

as for aayla, i totally pictured a better rots jedi like shaak or ki adi in her place in that pack. as for the dam dooku, even if the evo dooku is too hard oh waa boohoo for hasbro to pull off, the ROTS dooku is pretty good, too. two SUPER sculpts out there and they choose this one, that wasn't even in the arena fighting in the first place. as for the SBD,...dam...

Yeah, kind of a strange selection for this set.  No interest from me either, but maybe the kiddos will like it.
