Yeah, Tarkin was a natural dick head. 

Kind of wish he had survived the first Death Star.  I always thought that Peter Cushing and Alec Guiness (sp?) had the best roles in ANH.  Both old men bit the dust aboard that moon sized ship.

Tarkin was probably nauseated that day.  He has to look at an ugly boss and weird man in black armor.  He's just not feeling peppy.
