Got a Darth Malak Mini Bust yesterday from a fellow YF member - pretty cool. I'm not really into the EU/KOTOR stuff, but this is actually a nice piece. The removable jaw plate is a cool feature too.

Plus I picked up a ANH OWK for $40 off ebay.

I'm kind of on a GG kick lately. Probably cause the Kuby purchases have dried up for me lately.  :P

Just got my QGJ and OWK busts today: Ben is my definite favorite of the 2.

Masters and Apprentices:

Funny how they can do so well on the Liam and Alec likenesses and Luke ends up looking more like Aunt Beru.  :P

And Malak:

Dam, I had no intent of picking up Malak, but those pics look awesome!

Other then Stormtrooper luke, I don't have a luke bust.  I would like to see farmboy luke, simply because it's his "classic" look (in my mind).  Other then that, jedi luke and dagobah luke are my favorite looks.  With that, I was pretty excited when jedi luke was first announced - until I saw pictures.  GG has always done a great job, but their choice of pose, and the sculpt, really don't do it for me with jedi luke.

I know ppl have complained about the likeness on the jedi luke, but if you put it next to the xwing luke it really does look like an older version on young skywalker.

I agree, but I still don't care for the pose or expression on his face... I like the X-wing better.

Yeah, the Jedi Luke face likeness is much more ANH-era Hamill than it is ROTJ, but still looks great.  I got my ANH Leia yesterday, and it was #1980!  Not exactly the right year, but still OT themed!

Another raffle starting at the end of this week, check your e-mail.

The Premier Guild Member raffle for the quantity we held back of the Baltimore Exclusive (Commander Bacara mini bust) and the World Tour Exclusives (Star Wars Animated Yoda and R2-D2 Maquette and Luke and Han in Stormtrooper Disguise Bust-Up 2 pack) will begin at the end of this week. An email will be sent out to all GG Premier Guild Members with information at that time.

To make these widely available as possible to Premier Guild Members who weren’t able to attend Baltimore Comic-Con (for Bacara) and Baltimore/SWCIV/SDCC (for Yoda/R2 and Luke/Han), we are asking that PG Members who took advantage of the Pre-Order for Pick-Up for either of these 3 items not place and entry into the raffle for the same items. Entries for the raffles will be reviewed prior to the selection of the winners. All entries from PG members that had their pre-order for pick up fulfilled at those 3 events for the same items will automatically be removed.

Quantities that will be available for Raffle:
Commander Bacara mini bust - 200 pieces
Star Wars Animated Yoda and R2-D2 Maquette - 400 pieces
Luke and Han in Stormtrooper Disguise Bust-Up 2-pack - 600 pieces

Gentle Giant Ltd.

Good luck to those that enter.  :)

I'm getting disgruntled again on the raffles :-\  I haven't won diddly yet and I sure would like to win again.  I imagine I'll probably win if I enter for the bustups but I'm jonesing for the Baraca.

Good luck guys!  I'll be sitting this one out since I was able to score a Bacara in Baltimore.  At least that's one less insane Gentle Giant mini-bust completist to compete with in this drawing.

The raffle is up & I entered for the Bacara bust & the animated Yoda/R2-D2 maquette for the hell of it. No need to enter for the Luke & Han Stormtrooper bust ups, lets see what happens.  :-\

I entered for both of those as well, really hoping for the maquette though.
