Very cool indeed. I more and more wish i started collecting these earlier on. Way too much to back track i think.

I started at the beginning of this year.

Bacara was my 50th bust.  I had a grand total of 2 before my dad bought me Chewbacca as a Christmas gift.

And you're right, it's way too much to back track.  I was able to do it by dropping $1,000 out of an inheritance, and by selling everything SW related that I had sitting in my closet from Micro Machines to Titanium to extra Army Builders and a bunch of other stuff - then looking for good deals and making sure I stayed current on the new ones.

When Ilook at a shelf full of clones... I wonder if it was worth it?

Yeah it is a bit much. I think that once GG puts up the preorder for the set of 5, if i happen to win that, then i will start collecting them.  :o

Got my Bacara bust from a trade so now I'm officially 5/5 on the Commanders.

And now that most people who were really gunning for them have their Fab 5, it's time for Force spirit Obi-Wan.  Doesn't anyone at Gentle Giant ever want to take a break?  I'm pretty sure that I've got Dengar waiting for me at my local comic shop, too.

ToyFare has a pic/info on the upcoming exclusive Spirit of Obi-Wan bust.  Looks kind of neat.  Like others, this is a line I wish I could afford/would have started with sooner.  Of course, I think to afford it I'd have to drop everything else I collect.

So this naturally begs the question of when the light-up Anakin bust shows up to complete the trifecta?  And will it be Hayden's head completing revisionary history?  Will there be interchangeable heads, like they've done with the arms for other busts?  Does anyone really care?

I will say I'm happy to have not yet bought the Obi bust, so now I can opt to get just one of these rather than both.  Now to make that decision.

Picked up my Dengar bust today, and the Royal guard should be out in a few weeks.  Top on my wish list is the Tie Pilot (why haven't they done that one yet!!!), 4-LOM, and farmboy Luke.  I'm also hoping we eventually see a re-posed Fett, but I'm not holding my breath on that one.  After that, I think I'm done with the line.

I gotta say, the Ackbar and Tusken look real nice though...

I'm not holding my breath on the guards just yet - we still need the Jawas to show up and those could be a few weeks away too.  I'd guess closer to Christmas, or worse, for the guards.

Dengar only just showed up.  The Jawas were supposed to be a September release, and the Royal Guard and Senate Guard were scheduled for October.  It seems like they're about a month behind their own release schedule, so the Jawas should be out in a couple of weeks, and the guards should be out in November.  Unless Gentle Giant catches up, of course!

GG has updated their blog to indicate the Jawas are shipping to retailers this week...
