From the JD front page, Han is going to be an exclusive :o :(

I'm not unhappy with the folks at Gentle Giant, at least not from the perspective of that they were able to clean up the problems they were having online so that's good.  But they use FedEx, so tack on another $25 CAD to my costs for these busts from them.  Ebay is looking cheaper in some instances, and that's not a real positive thing.

The Han looks great and is basically a must for me now that I have the Luke.  Speaking of which, I opened up and am proudly displaying the Luke they sent me.  They were kind enough to send me a fairly low number too - 0628 so that's an improvement from the previous version I had (which is heading to Jim ;)).

The likeness is spectacular, no doubt about it.  I'm still having a hard time getting over the size relative to the price but I am happy with them.

Now, I wonder if Chewy in manacles is coming next???

Indeed he is.  I saw details about that in the new issue of Toyfare, I believe.

Excellent news.  I picked mine up off ebay as a presell, but the seller has been great with weekly updates, so I'm pretty pumped to get mine.

One or two, where do you stand?

Wow, that price is unbelievable.  It would be nice to have that kind of money to spend on collectibles....yikes.  I haven't ever bought any of the minibusts (too expensive to collect overall for me), but I really think they look like a great product.  I have a question for those of you who are more experienced with this line?  I saw the Han Stormtrooper bust in the latest Insider, and it says it is a collector's club exclusive.  What I was wondering, is if you aren't a member, is there a way to get this?  For example, could a member order extras for friends, or is it free to become a member, or something like that?  I'm not sure I can afford it or not, but if I got any of these I'd like to get the Han and Chewie ones that might come out.  Just curious if it was possible, thanks for any advice you might have.

So far Gentle Giant has limited their exclusives to 1 per person.  It is free to join the club though, all you have to do is sign up for their newsletter on the website.  www.gentlegiantltd.com

Exactly what Silver said.  I thought it was more complicated than that, but nope.  Sign up for the newsletter and you're in.  Stormtrooper Luke is proof of that.

If Han Stormtrooper goes half as smooth as the Luke Stormtrooper did (after the minor kinks were worked out) then this will be a great way to distribute these exclusives, in my opinion.
