Did anyone catch the "Fan Club President's" State of the Community Address? It's pure comedy.

So as "Fan Club President" what was accomplished by his "administration"?

Is he the official "Lame Duck Fan Club President" now?

He didn't really say what he accomplished.

What's even the point of a Fan Club President? I think this says it best...

You're very close.

A few weeks ago I got the shaft from one of the mods for posting Shaun Neinast's phone number and mailing address.  When I pointing out that the RS rules say "no member's address shall be posted," I was told I was "reading between the lines" when I mentioned that Shaun is not a member.

It's nice how I go out of my way to take Shaun down for tax evasion, the mods threaten to ban me for it, and then the whole community benefits now that he's out of the game.

Is it me, or did RS crash last night?  Have they exceeded their bandwidth limitations?  I know there are going to be demands on the site because of Comic Con, but WTF?

They crash every ******* night, just not this long. There's usually a good 2 to 4 hours where they're out of commission, though, starting around midnight.

Even when the front page is down, the boards still usually work--for me, anyway.

Strange.  I was able to get on Cool Toy Review and the forums but not the main page.  I wonder if the volume of photos is making them crash.

If you want to really laugh you should read (tenike1's) myspace blog. It's truly fascinating.

Looks like someone at RS has connections - those SDCC presentation images are too clear to have not been taken directly from the original Powerpoint.

They had clear photos from the CIV presentation as well.  I'm guessing they just handed Curto a copy of PowerPoint file.  I wonder if they'd do it for other sites if you just asked?
