Cool deal on the TRU add...that comes out to what, $14.00 for 3 figures? That is better than the $4.99 sale a few weeks back. Lets hope they stock!!!

This is the type of promotion my TRU puts up then 'stocks' a wave that's 1-2 months old and puts out 1 case of it. Just to get you in they're (dying corporation) store.

Well it's my B-Day this weekend.  So, maybe I can persuade the wife to buy me some SW figures at Toys R Us.

I checked out TRU this morning in my area, and they actually had stocked with about three cases of the soon-to-be-legendary-for-all-the-wrong-reasons Hoth/Geo/Carkoon refresh waves.  I picked up a Jango for my cousin's birthday, an Utapau Clone for someone here, and a Scorch to use as Cody bait, but the best part (aside from the 16 dollar price total) was the other Scorches and Utapau Clone were bought by two little kids with their father and the kids were smiling ear to ear.

I think it's the first time I've seen kids be excited about figures in a long time.  One kid got Scorch (he's from that game (older brother) has dad!), an Utapau Clone, and an old ROTS Tank Gunner that was laying on the floor; the other kid got Jango, an Utapau Clone, and the other Scorch.  And Hasbro thinks kids don't want Clones.

I don't get that either. I know for a fact that I've seen several  kids here in Indy go nuts when they find Clone Troopers in a store.

I wish my TRU had more **** in stock for the BTGO sale. I don't think anyone wants to buy 2 Rieekans to get a free Derlin.

Target in Marquette, MI has their figures at $5.83 and Kmart has a sale on them this week 2 for $10.00.

Kmart here is doing the same thing.  Plus I'm seeing more pegwarmers at WM due to their price hike on the SAGA figures.

Target lowered their prices from $6.99 to $6.64 at my Targets...

In my area, Target is all there is to pick from and they're $6.64...  WM's mostly don't even have pegs, and those that do are over $6.  KM has nothing...

KB is $6.99...  TRU $6.99...

This isn't a price cut, but I've noticed lately (I think its been this way for awhile) that Amazon is charging $8.99 per each basic figure.  I guess by that comparison, the VTSC figures aren't too badly priced.  I hope we don't continue to see prices raise until retail stores are charging near or at $8-$9 for basic figures.  If so, they need to release a lot fewer figures per year, or people (at least people like me) won't be able to keep up with this.  $9 a figure?  Yikes.

I noticed that too.  I guess Amazon realized that they do have a market online for people that cannot go to stores for whatever reasons.

Price increases are a fact of life. Oil is used for plastic an such. 7 bucks is too high.
TRU 7, Target 7, Walmart 6.5 how can Hasbro lower the price?
Here is my suggestion, I would see the lame a@s holo figure and stand with the tampoed name on it be put back into the articulation or lower the price by giving them the boot!
I have 3 complete sets of the dumb holo dudes. I dont want them in red! At least make more characters, C3P0 or R2.
