Regardless of what they call it, it'll be interesting to see what makes the final cut in the line. I sincerely hope the are zero POTF2 sculpts.

 

There are SOME good POTF2 sculpts! Ishi Tib, Death Star Droid, and Oola are excellent! 

It's funny you mention those, because I wouldn't call them the better POTF2 sculpts.  DS Droid is good, but the wide stance is a bit much.  Ishi Tib has that weird side-cut robe and Oola needs a better stance.  I would call Pote Snitkin, Muftak, Rancor Keeper, and even the Gamorrean Guard as the better POTF2 sculpts.

All kidding aside, I think the Spacetrooper looks pretty ugly, but the Darktrooper still looks pretty sweet.  I still want a couple more Darktroopers for myself if I can find them for less than $30!

The Darktrooper is another one I was late to the party for. I played Dark Forces after the figure came and went and really dug the character. I would have picked up more had I known.

id like a darktrooper, too, but i hate that its beating the plain white AOTC clone i never found a single one of. i hate that most of these pairs seem to have been matched to make people choose between two figures they equally want to see again, at least for me thats how it is.

Wow...these final 8 "legendary" figures are quite simply pathetic. I can't believe the VOTC Boba Fett lost to a droid.

Yeah, I like droids and all, but I can't believe that VOTC Fett lost.  Also, while I'm glad that this will hopefully help some people pick up a figure or two that were tough for them to find, there are very few of these remaining figs that I would deem "Legends".  If they want a true "Star Wars Legends" line to repack alongside the main line, just fill it with figures like VOTC Han Solo, Chewbacca, Stormtrooper, Boba Fett, Pilot Obi, Evolutions Anakin, Vader, etc.  Don't give us pit droids and background droids and call them "legends".

Okay, if they're seriously going to do a Saga "Legends" line, here's what needs to be rereleased.  SERIOUSLY (for me):

24 figures total, right?  8 will be "fan choice" (so to speak, so that leaves 16 total.  Do 8 from each trilogy, and here's what I would pick:

02.  Luke Skywalker (VTSC X-Wing Pilot)
03.  Chewbacca (Early Bird/VOTC)
04.  Darth Vader (Evolutions with Shaw Head)
05.  Princess Leia Organa (VOTC)

07.  Boba Fett (VOTC in ESB colors)
08.  Emperor Palpatine (Evolutions)

PT:
09.  Qui-Gon Jinn (rumored SA version)

11.  Anakin Skywalker (ROTS Evolutions)
12.  Clone Trooper (AOTC White)

Just my thoughts.  We'll probably still only get the ROTS Anakin #2 and the ROTS Vader.

The remaining four "Fan's Choice" figures have already been chosen (by Hasbro), and were taken from those huge, initial polls in the RS forums.

So my question is, why not just call the final four the "Fan's Choice" figures, and leave that designation off the other four Hasbro-chosen figures?

i've really hated this whole fans choice thing. at this point they might as well have let hasbro pick the same old stuff they do. because its really starting to look like that to me. and aside from the constant dwindling of the list, the stuff that was selected was either stuff i'd like to see gain some value or stuff i'm too cheap to spring for on ebay. the scariest part is the fact that Rebelscum is clearly an hasbro sock puppet, i was always really amazed at the way the ppl on those boards sounded like ppl whom had stock in hasbro. funny how things turn out....and atleast they changed the tittle from fans choice(more like collectors choice) to saga legends(now gather around the fireplace young largo, daddys gonna tell you the legend of the rarely seen two to a case repack collection of '07!or the legend of the biggest pegwarmers of all time!or new lyrics for weird al)


so far next year looks like its gonna be painful for my wallet.
voting wise, i voted againsit everything i have, which was most of the lists! and voted EU. which ofcourse has been murdered by a slew of troopers(expected) and droids.
