I need to make a serious campaign for the Pit Droids 2-Pack. I've already changed my signature here on the forums. Let me make a couple statements about these great figures.

1) We have seen three Biker Scout figures in this one year. These pit droids were only released once in Europe.

2) Due to this, they are among the last figures many carded completists have to collect. Even loose collectors would benefit, due to their knee articulation and unique paint aps found in no other pit droid figures. On Ebay, they are worth (carde in 2-Packs) anywhere from fifty to 200 dollars. Biker Scout? Well, around 20.

So, c'mon, fans, wake up,

and VOTE PIT DROIDS DAMN IT!!!

^ It was close, since I want the Imperial officers too, but I did vote for the pitdroids when it came down to crunch time.

So ... as the votes stand right now, we'll be getting VOTC Biker Scout, Imperial Officer(s), Darktrooper, and Sandtrooper Sergeant. What horse****. I mean, I'll probably buy the first three of those, but these are not what I would have really wanted at all. While I did vote for some of them in earlier stages, when it came to this latest round I voted for the three droids and the Coruscant Clone Commander.

(Granted, some of the votes are close and one or two of them may turn around before the end.)

All of this fanfare and the wailing and gnashing of teeth, and it looks like all we got out of it is four Imperial troopers. And then, of course, Hasbro just picks another four however they please. horse****, I tell you.

And yes, I realize I was a fool to hope this might turn out any better than it did.

I am happy if the Imperial Officers get made since i never found them all the first time. (At least i dont think i did  ) But there is no need for the Biker Scout to be released. The pit droids shoul dbe the clear winner, i don't understand why they are not.

Pit droids are nice and a set with tools would be cool.  But honestly that smells like a pricey EE set to me.

Well it looks like the 4 winners have been selected:

The Pit Droids
The Imperials
The Dark Trooper
Sandtrooper

I am happy the Imperials and Pit Droids are being released this way.

But the voting is not over yet! Now that the final 4 are determined, we're going to take it one step further. In addition to being released as one of the "Fan's Choices", the figure (or figures, in some cases) that you vote as the #1 fan favorite will be specially marked that way on the card. So once again, every vote counts to determine the overall fan favorite figure.

Cripes ... could they milk this any farther??

YES! YES! YES! YES!  now lets just hope hasbro doesnt just give us a repainted 2-pack of the PD's that came with gasgano.  but, keeping this positive, yay, im so happy! its a relief to know that the voting fan community has this much common sense, i was very scared that biker scout would win.

To say that I'm absolutely thrilled that Hasbro is now locked into making the foreign Pit Droids available for a decent price in the US after 7 years is a true understatement.  I just hope that they ship the living hell out of them in all their different color variations so I can finally put that nagging OCD item out of my mind forever. 

I'll definitely buy a couple of Imperial Officers to pilot my Shuttle, and I'll probably pick up the Sandtrooper just because, but I have to say I'm a little bit disappointed that the Darktrooper was one of the four finalists.  I'm glad that everyone that has wanted one will be able to add one to their collections, but the sad part is that by rereleasing this one, it pretty much nullifies the possibility of a much more detailed and articulated version of the figure in the near future. 

Oh well, three out of four ain't bad.

I'd much rather have 7 more biker scouts than 7 dinky pit droids, but that's just my opinion.
