Ya know, I was thinking Dale, you might owe me enough to pay for a master case anyway :-X ;)

Checks in the mail via Canada Post. Good luck!

I ordered my stuff from RoBby, they are the way.
I got a master case for me and 2 buddies to split, RAH Vader and
2 boxes of kubs.
I also pre-ordered series 5, RAH Stormie and a few other things.
They have been great to deal with so far, we`ll see how it shakes out
after I get the packages this week.

If you use a CC, they charge 3% fee, and bank transfer was a set fee of
1,500 yen (13-15 bucks depending on exchang rates).

So the price goes up a tad now, still cheaper tho.

I was dumb and took expensive shipping, but regular would have been about 90 bucks. It is 2 big boxes, so I figure 40-45 for a master case would have been
about right.
I think it would be about 300 US for a master case, with shipping if that
was all you ordered from them. I don`t see master cases that cheap anywhere,
and last series we paid 365 or so from BBTS, so we saved at least 65 bucks,
and any money saved is more money for kubs and RAH!

Couple of BINs on ebay right now, $89.99 for Han and Vader chase.  Seller's name seems familiar.

Han

Vader

Again, $300 is seeming reasonable for 9 piece sets.

He`s a good seller, I think I have gotten stuff from him before, and a few people I know have too (buddy got a set of SW kubs from him awhile ago)
Just make sure you spell his name with BOTH Ns in there when emailing friends
about him.... oops!

As of now, 300 does seem like a good price for the whole set

<<edited to add, aha, I see who it is now! damn insider jokes around here,
I`m still a noob  :-\ >>

Now, THIS is how to sell a basic set.
The way he has the Vader(s) (or is it Vadi?...), is how I will probably set mine up.
3 of them showing the different stages, I love it.

Well, at least I now know why his auctions look so good. Collectors always have
nicer auctions than just plain old sellers !

I want to have the Vader with two stormies on each side in a display as well.  I have that set-up from the Tomy mini-dioramas; with the commtech Vader/stormies; and up to the 12" stuff.  I fear if they ever release Sideshow 1/4 Stormtroopers, because I'll need two :'(

Just a few things to note...

The Pre-Order expire at RoBBy.jp site about 2-3 months before the item is due.

For Series 5 it is very soon = 7-19-2005 (ONE WEEK FROM TODAY).  After that, the booking is closed and either they stop taking orders OR the price goes up if they still expect a bit more stock.

I learned about RoBBy.jp (from the KubrickWorld gang) just a bit too late last time (Series 4 booking closed 3 days after I received my registration confirmation  :'() and I am still a little miffed about missing out on $300 Master Case (after shipping) for Series 4.  The early bird get the worm I guess.  :-\

This time though, I did not miss out.  I placed my order at RoBBy the other day for Series 5.   :)

If you ever have to email them, ATTN Ryo in the subject line.
I have dealt with him with all my questions and what not, he`s been very cool.

Sometimes the items stay up after the booking deadline at the same price, but
not often.

I didn`t get any newsletter lately from them though, I just noticed when I was
looking for other stuff that they added RAH Stormie (Under 100 bucks for that!) and
series 5.

I've got a question...

How do you know about shipping from them?  When I placed my order, there was no shipping option to select.  Do they send it EMS if it is over a certain cost or was there a shipping option I missed?   :-\

Dude, that's a chunk of change.  Also why I left that scale up to Hasbro :P  Gotta save my money for two Sideshow troopers.
