ive been really lucky with these chases...
picked up walrusman for 50 dollars at an online store, then today went to akihabara looking for the other 2 chases....
something weird happened . the shop had a box of open lukes, gunneres etc, so I figured he'd searched through and taken out the chases. So I ask him if he has them and he said "NO". I asked him if he had found them and he asked me how much Id pay for one
. before I had a chance to reply he blurted out "2000yen!". then he picks up a cases and starts opening all the gunners in front of me! he says thats where they are! he opened them al!!! and then apologised for not having one. I suggested we start on the snaggies next, worked our way through them then started on the Lukes. Bingo! han solo in trench coat! he says "2000yen again, but I find the second han. realising they werent as rare as he thought he suddenly drops the price to 1000yen! of course I took them both.
it turns out he found the walrusman earlier and had flogged it for the 2000yen.
I now know the joys of ripping my way through 3 boxes of a master case, and didnt have to pay a penny until I found the chases!
Christ, I hope he really was the shopkeeper....
Anyway, thats my quota of luck for the month used up!
